And platformers can do just as good on the PS3 and Xbox if you have great people working on it. Little big planet is a great platformer and does great in sales so what does console have to really do with it, its all developer there, to bad spyro isnt with a good company like EA or sony otherwise they would make spyro great i guarentee that, all of EA's titles sell very well oh well he's stuck with activision.

I dont think they'd have bothered putting the word legend in if it wasnt meant to convey something to the fanbase, but you never know.

Wii controls can be a pain, if they follow in the footsteps of Crash Mind Over Mutant with Spyro it could be very good. With MOM I was able to lie back and relax and play comfortably, the way platform gaming should be.
My brother thinks Spyro might be going the way of downloadable content, given the different packs and the online capablility of the Wii. But the regular non DSi DS doesn't let you go online, does it?

How do you mean by going online? My old DS can connect to the web still, but I don't know about general browsing.

Although even so, that wouldn't stop them probably - Whenever a new DS console comes out, the previous one gets faded out (I had such a hard time finding a case for my original one).

You can browse the web on the original DS and the Lite, but you have to buy the "DS Internet Browser" cartridge. You also have to keep the cartridge in while browsing, I think. But there is no app store. But on the Wii's "Nintendo Channel", you can download DS demos and play them via DS Download Play.

And I know LBP's appeal is in the creativity, but Sackboy is still a mascot. He has appeared in other games as a playable character. And because of his cutesy look, the game suffers an identity crisis. The game actually didn't do very well initially in November 2008. It started selling better during and after Christmas that year though. I actually don't recall the game even getting a "Platnium" edition. Although there is a GOTY edition in North America.

I really dont like the wiis online performance, when I have my router set up to play it right it will work for about ten minutes then the internet goes out until I reset the routers properties back. If its an online wii game i'll be rather surprised.

My best guest would be that it's most likely downloadable content for the game rather then it being online. of course I might be wrong but based on the kind of game spyro has been so far that seems likely.

although they could be trying something completly new who knows?

I don't mean online only, or even play online, I mean you download extra content from the webto add to the game.

Wii doesn't really do DLC. I think DotD should of had DLC on 360 and PS3.

You know, new levels, possibly the ability to play as Dark Spyro/Cynder, levels designed for co-op and maybe an arena mode.

tell me if this link works or not but its a document showing a list of registered url's. the site that posted this is domain testing site and the "MARKMONITOR INC" mentioned in it is a company that does domain management. Go down this list and there are several url's titled "Spyros-kingdom"

i know dude, those are definitely there servers too, i checked.

The first link you postedtells me to download something, which I do but it still won't work.
The second one shows me three more links which tell me there's a server error.

if you have notepad then the first link will open fine. as for the second it works fine for me...im gona sound really stupid but how do you go about taking a screen-shot so this problem can be solved.

at least two websites should appear that match. the second one has a list of various sites under S is spyros kingdom.
scroll down and it should be in there.

You pull up the screen you want to take a pic of, press the print screen button (it appears as Prt Scr on the keyboard) then open paint and paste the image there using the edit paste option. The save the pic and uploaded to a website where you can copy the link to the picture you took and uploaded and post it here.

Do you get anything when you click the actual spyroskingdom.com link? That was my problem with the second link; the subesequent links it contained don't work.

I'm not going to speculate much about it, really we don't know much.. I'll wait until it's announed by Activision officialy.. Usually they would have announced the releace by now.. They probably don't know the releace date (or maybe even year) quite yet.

We've already been told that it is coming in 2011.

There is no actual site you can see. well, I didn't see a link to it anyway.

The only thing it has is the name of the site when you click on that it gives you some information about it, Aura24.

you can't view the actual site. The domain name has been registered, thats all, otherwise yous would have found the site ages ago. It only shows that they're probably sticking with spyro's kingdom and that a site is being prepared.

Oh. If there are servers, then it probably will be a MMO game.

Well it seems to be proof that the game is real and I guess there will be a website for it soon.

If its an MMO there would be beta testing, I kinda doubt its an MMO really though.

btw one of the servers is from the main headquarters in Santa Monica and the other from spywareguide in San Diego. So it definitely isn't fake.

where's this MMO coming from? Every website has a server lol it isn't related to the game being an MMO at all

Thats what I was thinking lol. It just means they have chosen what is going to run the website basically.
