RadSpyro, a member on the Spyro Forums discovered the page and shared it in a topic on the new Spyro's Kingdom thread. And I thought I share it around as well.

Hey, I know RadSpyro frm Youtube! I'm helping him a little bit on a project he is working on.

This is wonderful! If it happens to be released in Spring, I'll ask for it for my birthday. Planning on getting the "Adventure Pack".

Both Wii and DS edition! ... I hope it will come to the DS.

It's possible this could be an MMO type game. The Starter Pack could just be the character creator and a few quests, while the Adventure Pack could be tons of quests and online functionality. It would make sense. Maybe Activision are trying to replicate the success of Monster Hunter Tri with this game.

I don't know what I should think though. I don't really play MMOs, and I was kind of hoping they could develop Spyro and Cynder's relationship. I was also hoping they could explain certain things.

But there is no point in jumping to conclusions yet. I will be getting Sonic Colours on Friday anyway! Although, I do hope Spyro's Kingdom comes to Xbox 360 and PS3.

Creating your own character won't necessarily take away from character development of the main characters, or even Spyro being the hero. Just felt like saying that... *stares at Phantasy Star Portable*

If this game is Classic Universe/Style, I will get it in a heartbeat.
If it is LoS Universe, I will get it in half a heartbeat.

If this game is Original or LOS, I will literally scream 'HE LIVES!' and run to whatever game store I pre-ordered it at with the speed of a crazy kid.

If it's a new concept... I'll run to the store screaming about the Apocalypse, and spatulas...wait, what am I writing? (in other words, I'll be very skeptical).

We are not sure yet, we are merely guessing what it means. When it comes to Spyro, it could mean anything.

I'm really curious what's going on..

The mention of two levels of games (starter and adventure) says to me that is is a game you build on. Given that the title is Spyro's KINGDOM so far, I am led to speculate that you will be able to build a kingdom as you go along in the game. Perhaps in the starter pack you have limitations, like fewer types of buildings to create and a fewe places to build, but in the adventure pack you get way more choices and a wider world. Though I don't know why they'd do that; it makes more sense to just have the one fully loaded game. Then again activision is supposed to be greedy, so perhaps they think they'll make more money on the fans who will buy both packs just because it is Spyro.

Yeah, but the genre says action/adventure. So I would say the starter pack is a few basic quests and the adventure pack is a much bigger, more open experience, possibly with online play. I doubt Spyro will end up as an RTS. And I hope it doesn't.

I didn't mean it would be an RTS, I meant you would go about the game as you usually would in Spyro, but sometimes you have to build and rebuild certain areas. And each pack has different levels of versitility. That's all I meant.

Not necessarily that, more like a morality system, and the whole build/demolish thing could be similar to painting/erasing.

Oh, where you can either make your enemies into allies or destroy them?

Something like that. You could also choose to make Spyro/Cynder/Other to come across as noble heroes or more interrogative anti-heroes.

Starter and adventure pack? Sounds awesome, but also makes me think of some kind of online game. Like how you can by World of Warcraft or you can buy the World of Warcraft Battle Chest.

They wanted to take Spyro in a different direction, and this so far sounds much different than anything Spyro's been before. And, another question.. what's an MMO? I feel stupid again..

An MMO is a game played on the internet with thousands of other people.

In a sense. MMO stands for Massive Multiplayer Online . . . Like you said its like Wow. However if you want to get pedantic it can also be abbreviated like so: MMOG the G stands for Game.

In MMOGs, Adventure Packs are mini expansions which include new story content along with new villains and rewards.

Im starting to frown on this more and more that i see the info out. And again im getting really scared that this game is going to end up like sonic, and kirby and be a Wii exclusive which is bad for us non Wii owners. Now the different packs sounds way too different than any spyro game that has ever been released. im getting very worried.

Yeah join the club aura. When i first read that i thought uh oh, but then thought well maybe its only showing wii and DS games, but then i saw 007 in the ps3 and xbox under another name but under the activision logo and thought myself that theres no spyro game for us. Honestly this confirms theres no new spyro game for us non nintendo owners sorry guys but guess you wii owners get to enjoy it.

Huh. I'm lucky that I own a Wii, but I can see how frustrating it is for others who aren't so lucky.

I'm more concerned though on the possibility of an MMOG..... They could make it good, or really, really bad.

i do have a wii, but honestly the wiis crap unless its Mario or some sort of sport game which incorporates movement. If its a Nintendo exclusive i have one word for you activision....FAIL!

Agreed, the wiis more of a family/friends lets all play this game and have a laugh sort of console. It would be the first time a spyro console game hasnt been on the playstation if our assumptions are right too

I for one have a Wii, so if it's exclusive to the two systems i'm good...
But Activision, this may be a bad idea think of all the people who don't have Wii.

Well, although I would like PS3 graphics from this, I don't mind it being Wii exclusive, especially since I have a classic controller. Besides just look at Sonic Colours! The graphics are brilliant in that game! And the gameplay looks awesome!

Yeah i dont see why make it a nintendo exclusive, big time uncalled for. I can understand if the wii version was like the classic version and the xbox & ps3 owners get the mmog version but only nintendo, well i can kiss playing this game good bye, plus honestly i think this is confirmed that we wont us non nintendo owners wont get to play this game. I know its not officially confirmed but i saw alot of games that are expected to come out and are on there plus the dates sound right and the consoles they are going to be on makes sense too, so with that guess spyro left the ps & xbox scene.

Could be, after all, activision is being quite sneaky about the game. perhaps later on we will see more news for other game consoles.
