I think activision wants to make games based on lincensed products because they get a whole lot of money on licensed products.

Just saying that because they still get paid even if the game sucks.

Okay. So we know that Spyro 9 is coming out soon (possibly, since it might still have a VERY slim chance of being cancelled). So, do you think that Spyro will have a 10th appearance on a console?

Note: The "9" represents the number of console releases Spyro has had, regardless of the difference in the Spyro series. (I.E. Original Spyro vs. Legend Of Spyro)

Well one i need to search around for the Nascar game, and i'll be the judge if its any good. And if they combine both series then it wont be bad, now i dont see why the design thing of spyro and cynder is a big negative, its a character for petes sake, its the dumb people who kill it with their perverted minds, trust me i'd like for the design for the characters to come back, abit more tweaked but nonetheless the graphics were pretty good, and well cynders personality well it needs to be tweaked abit but hey anything on everything can be improved. seems like activision is taking the license to all the major franchises and that kinda worries me abit.

Anyway... Do you think it's more likely it'll be out Spring or Fall? On the one hand, they've been working on it for a while so they may be nearly done in which case it'll be out Spring. BUT if they advertise in fall more people might buy it given that Christmas isn't far from Fall, in which case they get more money because so many people go to buy it at one time.

By the way they're not telling us the game around this Fall, I doubt it would be release next spring, probably in the Summer or Fall.

I'm willing to wait. Though I'm still nervous about how it will turn out.

I would say it should be out fall, since yeah if spyro is gonna make a huge comeback then it would make sense to build up the hype for the game and more people will buy it for christmas.

Well they always tell us about the game that they had planned in the fall at late spring to early summer. So I expect that they will tell us in advance.

Please don't say "Spring" or "Fall" again. Due to different seasons, it always confuses me *_*... Just say the months.

I think at this point it will be coming in mid May to late September.

the nascar game i saw and its not too bad to be honest, only thing is the crashes are way to extreme from the real thing and i hope the cars handle like the real thing.

I'm saying that Activision is revealing their other games still progress that are going to be released, and not the next Spyro game, SpyroLUVA.

We kinda already know that, given that we haven't seen an anouncement for Spyro, and they can't just stop revealing ALL thier games.

I know that. If they're busy revealing their other games they think will get them more money, they should at least reveal details of the next game to us.

They will when they're ready. No amount of prying or claiming they should do it now will change that.

Wasn't Dotd released on the 21st of October. Maybe they'll announce it then. If not they'll announce it in e3 next year at a guess

I hope it's a direct sequel to DotD. I personallly loved nearly every aspect of the game, despite the fact it was unfinished. It's the best unfinished game I've played! Seeing as it's action adventure, it could build off of DotD's gameplay mechanics.

Yeah i agree the game had so much potential if it was finished and if it took this long to make it, if they couldve improved on the storyline, made it longer way longer, less fighting and more mini quests like the old games in those ways then yeah the game wouldve been great and fun to play, but i bet it was half way done. Oh well its been almost two years we should have a great game come by E3.

It wasn't unfinished at all..... It was rushed. ETD was unfinished. So many people mistake that for the same thing.....

I'd rather it not be a direct sequel to DOTD personally, I want the cute little Cynder and little Spyro back

Well she's not. I'm ok with her newer attitude. She's funnier and not as gloomy as she was in Eternal Night.

She's a sassy b**** who snaps at Sparx and Spyro, and she's not nice anymore.

It was a producer's mistake to have her personality change so suddenly.

Hopefully, if she's in the next game, she'll have a better and non-rushed personality.

Yes, she can. I didn't have a huge problem with her personality in DotD, but I really don't want it to be permanent.

I personally dont really care about how cynders personality was, because i focus on gameplay really. And plus spyro classic spyro kinda had the same attitude as cynder DOTD so i really dont know why its a problem. Gameplay should be the issue really, I can understand not liking a character but hey its whatever, i just hope the game is finished when the spyro team says its finished not rushed, I believe if the last game had krome or EL chosen in the first place the game would have been better, but the fact the game was still short still wouldve bugged me either way.

Actually, Malefor was sealed inside the core of the world at the end of DotD, not in Convexity, Bolt.

IMO, classic Spyro with a darker storyline would be epic. I have an idea on how it could be dark, which is in my, "Create your own Spyro game" topic in the General section.

Classic Spyro isn't a sassy b**** who is perfect and has no faults. And Spyro doesn't snap at anyone for no reason. Not to mention he has a better voice actor.

His personality isn't like hers at all.

I wish her personality in TEN was the same in the short clip. But I'm guessing that she's like that when she's happy, and not worrying about her past.

I also liked her the end of the game, how we saw a brave side of her personality, and she wasn't that sweet and innocent dragon at the beginning.

I'd love to see her personality like it was in the TEN clip..

I wonder what they're planning for the next game..
