Well i hope i can play it on the PS3, because making it a wii and DS exclusive would be pointless just due to the fact sony and Xbox have the same technology and have perfected it, so theres nothing that the wii has over the PS3 & Xbox other than price, but graphics and physics are better on the other two consoles, and to be honest spyro's kingdom hmm, ok well sounds to me like a RPG game like WOW for some reason i kinda think they took my idea of making it like spyros lair with online and a free roam open enviroment to walk around, im happy and then again worried if it aint gonna be playable on my PS3 is what worries me, but now im gonna message that guy and see what response i get out of him and im going to investigate some too.

He'll be bombarded with a lot of emails from Spyro fans. :3

The title sucks, but I am happy about this. Funnily enough, I was in the shower earlier today and suddenly wondered about a new Spyro game since it's been two years, going on three next year.

"Spyro's Kingdom" makes me think of the Lion King. X_X

Spyro's Kingdom is the game test title. The real title will probably be shown later in 2011.

when the word kingdom comes to mind relating to something big a place or area thats huge, which i would imagine would have free roam in it. heck spyro's kingdom " the rise of a dark shadow" could be a title haha im dreaming but anyways hopefully we get a screenshot soon.

Ooh, a new Spyro game finally.

I'm kind of glad it might be a legend, as much as I love originals I also loved LOS and I didn't like the thought that it might be all over.

Hopefully they won't keep the title, still... could've been worse I suppose.

Why would they announce it in outside of North America? After all, that IS where Activision HQ is.

Sadly, I think 'The Legend' does mean the Legend of Spyro universe. Unless they're trying to trick the LOS fans into buying something unrelated to LOS by giving it a similar name, but I doubt that for some reason.

I'm shocked by the amount of people disappointed at the possibility of another Legend game, I must say. Looks like there's more classic fans out there than I thought!

But.... I'm not too fussed at the possibility of a Nintendo exclusive. PS3 would be nice too though. Now if it was a 360 exclusive...... Ugh.

That's some pretty far fetched speculation. What songs? We don't have any soundtrack leaks yet.

We have no idea what this game will be like. We can't judge it on the supposed title "Spyro's Kingdom", or the little information we do have.

Exactly. I just hope it's fun and enjoyable with an interesting, original and well thought out story, and the characters are likeable with good personalities who know how to lighten up and have a sense of fun, humor and adventure.

On the first post on this topic, was the last song from A Hero's tale.

So far, everyone I've spoken to assumes that it's gonna be non cannon (and I agree) and some people think it's gonna have just loads of mini games, like fusion. I think it's gonna be an RPG... But according to the spreadsheet, it's gonna be an Action/Adventure...

I'm not buying it if it's set in the LoS universe. If it's part of a whole new trilogy then I hope it's as good as the original.

Who knows? If it's in the LoS universe, it could turn out to be a good game even if you did dislike TLoS. We don't know anything about it.. so it's way too soon to judge.

has anyone heard from tom bromhead? he's the only contact besides activision and they will either not find out that we know or just look past it if they do cause we don't know that much.

No, but I doubt that he'll voice Spyro (like someone above suggested)... I've seen some of his demo reels... He does voice overs for commercials...

I emailed him, but no reply.. yet.. I doubt he'll reply.. I mean, isn't Activision very strict about that? And same here, I don't think he'll voice Spyro. I think he'll be voicing another character..

he's been in a few games as well but yeah he'll be a lighter role in the game judging by the sound of his voice. Not that it's bad, just that he sounds like one of the more comical kinda characters you'd generally get. lol That last line made me instantly think of one such character. But I ain't gona jump to conclusions. tehe

well sparx maybe. of course lots of other characters could be introduced but sparx was one that just sprung to my mind. i'd love if they had David spade though

Hrmm.. I went back to Tom Bromhead's website, and it looks as if he's deleted "Spyro's Kingdom"? It doesn't mention that game anymore..

But yeah, his site definitely does not mention "Spyro's Kingdom" anywhere anymore. He probably removed it due to all of the emails he's gotten

I'd love David Spade to return as Sparx as well. He was my favorite voice for Sparx, and I all around just love him. As for Tom Bromhead.. who knows? (:
