What are you talking about? Dark52 wouldn't delete the forum just because of the movie being cancelled. There are still the next Spyro games and all.

I think Ice Dragoness means this board, will be removed because the movie is no more.

Seems likely, there is no use for a board about a subject that doesn't exist.

He'd probably make use of this if another company will soon make a Spyro movie, though it probably wouldn't be TLoS, rather the original series.

Based on the wording of the reply, the duration for which the rights had been purchased expired and Activision did not let them renew or get an extention.

It wasn't because of DotD, it was because of Activision making the Spyro franchise go in a different direction.

However, Activision could not kill the movie directly unless the movie producers choose to go along with it. Far more likely they simply did not let the movie makers get an extention on the rights for making a movie.
