Incredibly Annoying Glitch! [CLOSED]

Ok, I was playing and I went to the Dragonfly Dojo. Everything went fine with the first five villains. Then the glitch happened.

Everytime I killed a bad guy, their SWORD would be floating in the air still attacking me! I couldn't believe it. I tried restarting the level but it did it again.

Has this ever happened before?
