In that paragraph it says 'aided by his friends and family.

Are they reffering to Sparx, or is Spyro's father really Ignitus??? I know the thing about Spyro and Cynder being siblings in the GBA games was a mistake, but what if that is the plan for the movie? And what about the other guardians; is he releated to them?

Yeah, they're referring to Sparx. Spyro calls him his brother more than once in the game, and Sparx is his adoptive sibling.

spyro and cynder are not realated in any way they are just both born year of the dragon and ignitus,terador,volteer,and cyril they are not related to spyro they are the guardiens of spyro and lastly sparxes parent FOUND spyros egg so that dosnt really make them related.

Which is fine but don't take it seriously, it's a rated E10 game.

But being that video game movies are notorious for not following the source material, I would in no way surprised if they did make Ignitus Spyro's father smilie
