^It's called Genre Savvy; I haven't seen the movie, but using my knowledge of how a typical video game movie is, it's why I can draw the conclusion "it will be bad or like the Super Mario Bros. movie".

However, I give it some benefit of the doubt, unlike some people here who literally parade around "It sucks! It sucks! It sucks!" like they do about anything in the modern age, and mostly live under the impression "Let's wait and see what happens."

Plus, I have no real ego, so if the movie does make a mockery of itself, I won't care or be embarrassed.

But still, you got to be able to laugh at yourself sometime... hence all the jokes.

I can assume, since the games were bad, and 95% of all video game movies murder the games, that a Spyro movie would be 10 times worse than the games.

Plus, they're going to make it childish. Logic already says that. No one's going to go see a PG13 animated Dragon movie, and parents won't take their kids to a dark PG movie.

Just LoS. The originals are decent.
Plus, the movie is based around LoS, not the originals.
