I'm betting that it's either some MIDI sequencer is messing with you, somebody using one of Jerry Martin's tunes (the piano part and the last bit are all to jazz-like), or got something from a Bruckhiemer film...

I never trust anything, even music.

Besides, wouldn't they just use the music from the game?

Hmmmm. I've heard of things being leaked about movies before... but a music track? Now that's obscure.

Also, this sounds more like a track from a Ratchet & Clank game. Especially the last part, where there seems to be a lot of electronic beats going on. I'd even go so far as to say it sounds like something Boris Salchow would compose... but that's pushing it. Plus, the ending to that song is FAR to abrupt and seems completely "off the beaten path" of the LoS-verse. I'm sure it's fake.

Still, you never know...

Yeah, the techno part REALLY throws it off. I mean, a Spyro game has never had any music that falls under the category of "techno" or "electronica." It almost reminded me of The Crystal Method in their earlier albums.

It may sound good and decent or what not, but still, it's very, VERY likely it's fake.

And to point out what HIR said, Spyro games do not have anything sounding slightly near techno like at all. I've worked with some of the pieces for crying out loud via MIDI sequence...

Besides, Copeland was in a ROCK band. Not sure about the others who've done Spyro's music though...

Well, it's obvious that the LoS composers favored heavy orchestral/choir tracks, which were good for the first two games, but rather poor when it counted (DotD).

The question I must ask now is: What was in that orchestra? Did they use the "traditional" instrumentation or did the break away and add some saxes? Synths? Something different?

Actualy, if I remember correctly, the theme for STD had some techno in it...

Sounds good, but am I the only one who realized it's not ANY of the Spyro sounds? It's not even live music; it was definitely created with a synthesizer, and the techno DOES NOT belong in there at all.


Also, we don't even have a release date. It's way too early for some kind of leak like this.

Really kids, it's fake, and chances are, it's probably somebody messin' with ya.

i would love for it to be real, its epic. but TLOS games dont have the like......techno and electronica music in it. they stick with orchestra and voice choirs, stuff like that.

No Spyro game ever made went into the techno area. Everything was either rock, jazz, or orchestra... Thankfully.

Kinda makes me think of a teaser trailer....Open credits for a game or something...Lets say the trailer consits of images of LOTR like landscapes and allies and enemies, fequently interrupted by text which says things like "This Fall...Travel through a land reborn, with friends and villains both old and new...Join Spyro (pic of Spyro) Cynder (pic of Cynder) and his friends and family (pic of Guardians, Hunter and Sparx)...on another epic adventure...full of new places...new allies...new villains...(music changes) And a whole new take on it all! (Switch to images of bright landscapes, and comical/tough quotes from the movie/game). "You know what they say...Out with the New...In with the Old!" Spyro: A Hero Reborn Coming Fall 2010!

I just want to share my information with others here on this forum to discuss it. I am a big Spyro Fan and at first, i was happy to find this spyro forum. But now, i am angry and dissapointed.

And don't worry everyone, all egotistical jerkazzes get their fair share of their own medicine later on in life, usually much more severe than what they can dish out. Besides, reality is a harsh mistress...

I like it, even if it isn't in the movie, it's cool Though the ending was totally unexpected.

I didn't like it, it sounded like it couldn't chose wehter to be epic, sad or jazz like.

Ahh, the techno at the end reminded me of the old series. Good old times...

It was kinda weird. It started off all TLoS orchestral then went into old school Spyro with the techno stuff. If it was going to be for the film it would be more orchestral/voice choir music because they're making the film in TLoS style with Cynder and the Guardians, right?

I thought the music would be from the actual series though, like this:

it is really beautiful, and if it is real (which is doubtful), then the ending might b a little tribute 2 the original trilogy, the one that started it all...
