But if you guys all lose hope in it, it Will be a guarenteed dizaster. If there is going to be three movies, I hope they learn from this one, and when they get to DotD it will be flawless.

Any commercials are too many, But looking back at THEN is just as bad as NOW. It just looks worse back at THEN because you've seen all of the commercials thousands of times already.

I wonder how much action is going to be in it.

It'll be all good, When you have your home entertainment system, Volume all set, And then the THX advertisement. Yeah all good.

Then you'll wish your system could go louder, because your ears are blasted out, and everything that happens is do quiet in comparision.

I don't know right now but I see an epic fail in the making. Any movie based off an anime, book, video game,etc. These films always turned out to be bad because the director was too lazy to more research or they just assume what it will be about.

After seeing Garfield gets real (which was made by the same people) I had low hopes for it, but then I saw another Garfield movie (something about a magical funny pond or something)by them and the animation was extremely better. So hopefully they won't do too bad a job.

about the Garfield movie, paws inc was also involved in the animation as well, so not everything was from the company. Paws kind of came up with the models and such to make Garfield... well Garfield

Because it never had the chance to be good.

Why doesn't it have a chance?
Because it [video game movies] has sucked 99.99% of the time. Video game movies are so bad, that any VG movie that can score above 10% on Rotten Tomatoes should be hailed as a work of fine art.

But what about an ANIMATED video game movie?
If the animation company is not a big name (Pixar, Disney, Dreamworks, etc.) or Japanese, the movie isn't worth watching.

Maybe Pixar or Disney, but Dreamworks could easily screw up anything, let alone make it a cheap sell out to be so badly merchandised, commercialized, and faddy that just as soon as it comes up, everyone hates it.

And Japan is obsessed with anything that's either cutesy, furry as in only cats-foxes-wolves-ohmy, or a stereotype that mocks Western culture. So no Spyro for you from Kitsuneland!!
