And plenty of charcters in other games have their voice changed, but are still in the same continium.

I really do hope they continue with Classic Spyro...after all, LoS is finished.

Yeah, they did. But I think even Activision will keep the LoS setting. After all, there are some fans who are only there because of Cynder(me not included.....probably hard to believe for a lot of you!)

True...but I'm pretty sure that it's finished. :-/ Otherwise Spyro's Kingdom might have been called: "The Legend of Spyro: Spyro's Kindgom" or something like that. But I don't know for sure.

Well, since the Legend trilogy concluded, it wouldn't make sense to use 'The Legend of Spyro' name anymore.

But there isn't even a need for "Legend" in the title. The reason it was called "The Legend of Spyro" was because it was about Spyro trying to discover his origins. Now that he knows his origins, the story can easily go past that, and possibly expand on other characters.

Also, Spyro's Kingdom is likely to be a test title.

Yeah, it does sound funny. O.o Lol. Your right, sonic...Sorry about that. But if LoS was meant to be a triliogy, why continue with it? I know that there are fans that love LoS, (including me) and the characters too. (for example, Cynder or Malefor). Otherwise that would of been a waste of time, like sonicbrawler said...but if LoS was meant to be a triliogy, I still don't see why they should continue with LoS. I mean, what's wrong with Classic Spyro? :<

Nothing is wrong with Classic Spyro, IMO, but I would rather see them continue LoS. Ironically, it's easier for a Classic style game to be screwed up, and the "Classic Nazis"(as CAV calls them!) would probably be very particular and demanding(no offense.....just sayin' this from experience)

And Classic Spyro was meant to be a trilogy, and that went further...

But they wouldn't of said trilogy if they had plans to make more after Spyro 3. That decision was likely made at a later stage. I believe Spyro 3 started development very soon after the release of Spyro 2.

LoS was meant to be a trilogy, but a producer contradicted themself - First of all, they said it would only be a trilogy, classic Spyro wasn't completely dead, then later, they said they had just scratched the surface and would like to continue. So.....

Much like how the Classic Spyro started out as trilogy, and continued in the same universe, the LoS started out as a trilogy and the next game may possible continue in that same universe.

I wouldn't call it a contradiction. They probably just realised later on that LoS has so much untapped potential, and that the trilogy was fairly well received. It can still be a trilogy, as it was about Spyro's origins. The next game could be set in the same universe, but not focus as much on Spyro's origins and destiny.

But to add to what you said, they also said ANB was originally a prequel to StD.

I would, considering LoS didn't do any better than AHT in terms of sales....

But the prequel thing really got me peeved. If they had told me it was a reboot, I would have still bought the game, but the fact I went looking for a new happy game only to play a downright dull game (my original opinion at the time) was one of my biggest gaming disappointments.

Ok i see i was ignored, reason i asked if anyone saw that movie was because of this. gabriel mann was the one who did the music of alpha and omega in the movie.
