Did you see my vid? I can't see videos on my phone so I hope I pinpointed the right time. Elliot's cool. He's a bad guy, but he doesn't want to be. His king was corrupted and his army turned evil, and he had no choice but to die for his kingdom. He's a nice guy outside of battle and wants to be friends, but he stil fights and tries to kill you.
He died with honor IMO.
And some of his last words were "The next time you see me {player} it will be on the battlefield. If I die, please free Runefaust and King Ramladu from Darksol's influence."

I saw it, and you got the right time.
And I still think of Dark as his avatar. I honestly have to wonder. Why did he use the Japanese design of Spyro as his avatar? |

?????
Maybe because Spyro is originally Japanese? |

Spyro wasn't originally Japanese. If that was the case, then why did only about 3 games come out in Japan?

The first three games mind you.
Besides his avi is different than most, making him relatively easy to point out...and on a side note, its kinda cool. |

The first three games did not come out in Japan, I'm using Wikipedia as my source here, I've only heard about Spyro 1 and 2 being out in Japan and a couple of the handheld ones.

Nope, Spyro is 100% American (except for that one game that was made in France ). Insomniac is a California-based company and always has been. Japan only got the first two games and they didn't go over well there, so they didn't get very many more if any.

But Krome was Austrailian, so Spyro was an Aussie for a while....

It always felt like to me that Enter the Dragonfly was made in Japan because of the Dragonfly Dojo, but then again the voice-overs were American.

Well, there you go. Japan really didn't care much for Spyro and if you've ever seen what they did to StD and RR you might not want them mucking about with the franchise now.

If Activision can think of Space CoD, it will only be a matter of time that they take another franchise and put it in space. Spyro will be the guinea pig.

You should care about sales. If it sells well, then they make another game.
And a Japanese developed game? Get Nintendo or Capcom to make the game and your set. |

#382 Posted: 17:16:44 26/03/2011
I know that, but I'm never too worried about my favourite franchises selling well, seeing as they are popular, for the most part.
Nintendo - Would be awesome, especially if it were Classic style. Capcom - Not much of a fan, but they seem like fine developers. Square Enix - Definitely for TLoS type thing, or any RPG-like thing. Konami - They made MGS, a very story driven game.....they would be perfect for TLoS. Namco - These guys could probably do any type of Spyro game to an at least decent level. Sonic Team - ......Come on.....they have some great ones in there...*shot*

Haven't played that. But to be fair, that was a sports game anyway.....I rarely like them...
However, I loved Mario Slam Basketball, and thats made by Squenix. And I think Sonic Team would be good. Spyro is definitely easier to handle than Sonic, and they started on the right track at Secret Rings. And the handheld games were awesome.
