You can't call that a variant. You just can't. Don't get me wrong, I like it and all, but it's got the least changes out of all other variants. You can't change one thing about it and call it a variant. I really hope this magazine is just messing about and it isn't official.

Kappa, this isn't aura's problem at all - I have an issue with this. I have an issue with people making off-topic discussion because it makes it more difficult to find actual news if there are pages of off-topic discussion that appear overnight.

It looks like Dark Stealth Elf is going to be a cousin/sister to Dark Spyro. I like that they are creating more than 1 Skylander for a species, i.e. Dark Variants.

She's not necessarily a fan-favorite as much as an Activision favorite honestly. Don't get me wrong; many people DO love Stealth Elf, but others tend to think she has been overdone.

Sorry, but I still don't catch it: will the previous Adventure Pack (Darklight Crypt, Dragon Peak, Pirate Seas and Empire of Ice) wor ok SSF?

That seems so stupid(Excuse my language)! What about those people who had bought Empire of Ice because they wanted to have at least one adventure pack and they couldn't find any other adventure pack that they actually wanted! That's a whole load of bologna!

Rant aside, what about the Tower of Time and the other adventure pack? Those will work so why can't the......wait. I forgot about the whole HD graphics engine..... I'm gonna guess that's why.....

LOL. I live in Bologna. I didn't knew it was a common say. However, maybe they will still unlock their arenas, in battle mode. I think they wouldn't be to hard to be remaked in HD.

So actually, Swap Force is NOT on a new engine though the graphics were remade, Alchemy was also used with Giants Wii U(in the credits).

Alchemy was used to make all versions of Giants, I think it was also used to make SSA as well since Vicarious Visions have been working on Skylanders along side Toys for Bob ever since it got the change from Spyro's Kingdom to Skylanders.

I think the reason this new game will only have 12 levels is because we're gonna have 32 new characters, including 16 Swap Force Skylanders, and each level will have 2 or 4 Soul Gems.

When the subject of all Swap Force Skylanders being male was brought up, CEOs of VV, mentioned that they had to take a "gender neutral approach" to the figures so the swapping made sense.

There's also a new feature called Swap Force rhythm attacks. "Learn-able skill based attacks like Star Strike’s energy ball that can be reflected to grow it in size. You do it with rhythm and so it’s a nice way to get into her moves and defeat enemies quicker." It's like a rhythm action feature so that expert players can inflict much greater damage by timing their attacks and counter attacks right. Chain a few of these together and the level of damage that can be done is greatly multiplied.

So Rampant Ruins is going to be Chapter 4? As the person in teh second part of that vid said Rampant Ruins was 1/3 of the way through the game

Well, it makes sense, since you still don't know about petrified Darkness. The question is, where is Iron Jaw Gulch located in the story line? Before, or after Rampant Ruins? I'd say before (like the first, pr second level) since it kinda introduce Tessa, Flynn and the greebles.

I think Iron Jaw Gulch is the first or second level, as the first cutscene is usually pretty long in video games....

1) If you stop at 5:24 you can see that Wash Ranger (the screen on the left) is standing on some sort of wooden platform, in a level that we have never seen before, kinda like some sort of a happier and enlightened Rampant Ruins.

2) If you stop at 5:33 you can see a new gameplay of a Tech zone (the screen on the right), more platformy than the normal game. Could it be a Swap Force zone? Maybe a dig one? I doubt it however, since it looks like Magna Charge is playing it.

Well, actually, you are right. When I first noticed it, I paid more attenction to the ambient, rather than the character; now, however, that doesn't looks like Magna Charge AT ALL. I cannot recognize his top half, but the bottom kinda looks like a blu/white energy orb. Magna Charge energy ball is green. Could he be the second Magic Swapper?

I think that is second magic swapper I saw all black besides the blue orb and a brownish reddish hat covering the face

But, oops, back on topic; yes, it looks like a Magic Skylander, to me, but we still have to remember that he is (probably) in a new Swap Force Zone. And that orb could mean that he is a fast type. It isn't sure, but it's probable. What other type could he be?

All swappers are male and the speed zone is taken by Blade and Charge. The unfilled zones are rocket, spin, sneak, and dig. The elements that are unfilled are magic, air, and earth.

he would have to be stealth, dig, rocket, or spin

for stealth he could turn invisible with magic

for dig he could create a magic shield and push down and make holes

for rocket he could use magic to make himself fly

for spin he could spin and surround himself in magic

Ok... I'll have to check again which Swaplander has which movement type. However, I think that spin or stealth could work (especially stealth). Personally, I think that spin could work better with an Earth Swaplander. Kinda un original, I know. But it woul work well. Ok, after watching again the trailer (for like, 12 times), taking a few photos, and watching it again on a bigger screen, I have to admit that the upper half actually looks like Magna Charge's. The lower half is also very similar to his bottom halve, except for the color of the energy ball (wich could however be an update that makes it looks different). I'm still not sure, and I will continue to investigate, but this is my tought, as of now. Let me know what do you think about it! Any help is really appreciated!

I know, but if you look closely, it has Magna's little magnet thing, and the bottom isn't a wheel, but a tornado.

I hope the Heroic Challenges get replaced with something new and only take much less time than the HCs. Also, has it occurred to anyone that all Giants and all Swap Force Skylanders are bipedals (walking on two feet)?

Did you guys think about the jumping techique? Every character so far released has had a different jumping techique than the rest except for Freeze Blade and Roller Brawl's who seem somewhat similar......That character hasthe same jumping techique that Magna Charge has. And the wheel, that could just be an upgrade.......

Though the Giants are all probably gonna have the same jumping techique as they're giant, they can't exactly do somersaults in air....
