Just checked Cindybeans website, picture is there too. Defintley hoping it's the real one. Even if they did put small effort into it, it's still pretty boss looking.

It's a great way of reducing surplus vs a fire sale of the original @ 5.99.

just did some checking around and found cindysbeans is the inly site that still has pumpkin eye brawl up for ordering. My order from cd universe was put on hold because "product has been discontinued".
Not saying its not coming out, however it seems less likely to be september at this point.

Dunno about that. The person posting that GameStop receipt also said that only one of several GameStop stores that s/he contacted was willing or able to take a pre-order for the goofy Pumpkin Head.

Gamestop has a national database for ordering...if 1 store can do it...they all can do it. Workers might not be aware that the sku was added though. Honestly though, the fact that stores are able to take orders means that Pumpkin Eye-Brawl will be shipped in cases of just him. I wouldn't be too worried about finding him on shelves...he'll probably be everywhere.

This is not a chase variant. Chase variants are the 1 in *insert number* boxes. They ship these all in a box. One whole box FILLED with these. Chase Variants are in the assortment of that wave, and only pop up randomly, which is why they're called "chase" variants, to "chase" for them.

That would be the most redundantly uneccessary figure to ever exist. I kinda laughed when I read that and wouldn't put it past Activision to do that.

And i used the term Chase Variant as in, not In-Game Varient. It is a Chase sorta of...because its not an In-Game Variant like Gnarly, Granite and Scarlet are. And we don't know how many they are going to make...so down the line it might become chased after.

I use "Chase" the same way, I keep trying to point out that we need a term to mean "not an in-game variant", splitting the variants into those two important groups. And "non-in-game variant" is too awkward, LOL! I also keep trying to point out I'm not the only one who uses it that way.

Eye Brawl is one of my least favorite new characters, so no chance I'm getting this guy. Especially since he won't show up as a pumpkin head in the game.

Just picked this up today @walmart in Las Vegas; they had about 7 of them, looks sort of cheap but kind of cool idea.

Just grabbed 2 at the New Lenox, IL Wal-Mart. They only had 5 on an endcap shelf.

Hmmm... I had an order with CD Universe - which was cancelled, but I just got an email stating that my order has gone into "backorder" status now. I guess I shall sit back and watch what happens. :-|

I agree fully with you there, Mage0069. It pains me that the Dark Starter Edition was awarded to GameStop as an exclusive item. Since I prefer it over the regular edition Starter Pack, much like you, I'm begrudgingly going to purchase it. The only recourse I/we have, in my opinion, is to walk out of the store after buying the Dark Edition Stater, without purchasing any other items. The reason retailers request (or bid for?) store-exclusive items like this is to get you in the door and hope that you'll buy other things while there. If you don't buy other things, it's a small victory, at least.

Amen that's all I plan to walk out with. Target and toys r us will get the majority of my buisness and some going to walmart but I'm hoping that Toys R Us does a bogo sale like they did for infinity. All of the figures are going to be Xmas presents and the starter well I can wait till Xmas to play so my daughter is gonna get that early lol.

Oh absolutely. There is NO way I buy anything other than the Dark Starter there. It's not like they will have any deals the other stores will almost certainly have. They get the sale for that, somewhere else gets the figure sales, unless they do something completely out of character and have a good deal on them.

The other stores (Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc) will most definitely have sales that GS won't. I will only go to GS to get the Dark Edition. Also, GS doesn't have the shelf space that others stores have, so other stores will have larger quantities. I imagine 10/13 will be a day of people looking to maximize their savings by hitting the stores with the best deals.

It appears that he has appeared in the metro Atlanta area. I picked mine up from Peachtree City, GA GS. They had eight of them.

Not to be rude, but people like you that keep GS business. Could have saved a few $$ going to Walmart or Target to go towards purchasing Swap Force.

Found a few today in farmingdale NY fresh out of the box. Forgot the coupons thou so will need to price adjust later on.

I agree also...only getting the Dark Starter pack....and like what was already said..they just don't have the room to display alot....not to mechin there mark up on some things. Might use a FritoLay coupon and get the WiiU Starter pack at Walmart or TRU....planing on getting a WiiU this Christmas.
And Pumpkin Eye-Brawl still isn't in my area yet....blasted flater-rat!
