You could always order online.

And besides, it's only the US that's been confirmed for TRU - I for one will be shocked if Game let TRU get the better of them over here

well go to google maps and look up toys r us and the area you live in that might help

The only games that usually get public Betas are big online games like Halo Reach and both of the PS3 LittleBigPlanet games.

That game looks like a ''real'' game (like, for example, Spyro the Dragon...) but I didn't get the point of the game. Are there any 'main evils' or something? What you have to do in the game?
And does the game release in Europe later than in America? And where do I buy the game? Any game shop, Toys "R" Us or...? But still, I'm really excited about that. Let's wait and see what will happen.

Acti wants this game to be a cross between LoS and Classic I think. Attempting to end the fanwars that have been going on possibly? However, I think they just made it worse. Even though the LoS and Classic wars have stalemated, now its LoS v Classic v Skylanders.

Really? Where? I suppose it is possible for the dragon-like characters. But there are more than 4 types of characters for there to be one representing each element.

He does have four legs. The toy platform he's standing on is water, exactly like the platform the Gill Grunt toy has. Their element is Water. ;3

I'm pretty sure this character has only two legs, and doesn't seem to have any arms. A second view of this character is found hiding behind Spyro. One of Spyro's legs could be mistaken for the "water dragon's" back leg. The character also seems to have feet like a frog, so it's possible this character isn't a dragon at all.



Also, this character is not a griffin either, but there is a dark blue griffin character that is easily seen in the trailer--it's just not this one.

You just answered your own question. Trilogy. DotD even advertised how it was the final installment of the LoS TRILOGY.

But the producers did confirmed that they were planning on continuing the Spyro games in the LoS universe since they've only scratched the surface, but apparently Activision had other ideas for the franchise.

And that still kinda hurt. But hey, if the game succeeds in breathing new life into Spyro, I'm happy.

He sounds more like a dragon to me. Maybe fans are just too used to Spyro talking like a human and not making dragon sounds.

The voice actors were said to be of LOS's calibre, so there must be proper speech of somekind in Skylanders; we just haven't heard it yet. Maybe they want VAs to be a suprise. But why? What ARE you planning Acti?

Spyro can't be just a growling animal!!!

He's a dragon, SpyroGuy. He can growl, snarl if he wants to. In Skylanders, he's growling. Heck he was seen growling at Cynder in the ANB commercial and growling at the Assassin in one of the TEN shorts.

Y'know, that whole calibre of VAs comment, makes me think that those who say there will be little story are wrong. The reason: It's not accurate to say that the VAs will be good if they don't talk enough for you to get a good idea of the sound of thier voice so there must be a good deal of dialouge. If they talk a fair bit, there must be somthing to talk about, and if there's something to talk about, it's gonna be about the story. So chances are the game will have a full story, acted out by ALL 30+characters and maybe some NPCs. BUT you just won't be able to play as the characters until you buy the toy.

Get what I'm saying?

Meh, I'm planning on getting Spyro, the black griffon, the phoenix dragon, the water dragon, and a few other upcoming characters that interests me, not all +30..
