Aww, Dark villains are a thing. The color scheme never got my attention though Dark King Pen looks neat. I'll just have to deal with regular and look for a separate Dark Crystal.

Ok, they are really trying their best with this year's figures; I was complaining they lacked details but, not only are they unfinished... Look at those figures.
They are starting to look more and more like proper collection figures.

I am a bit worried by their sizes and I still hope they'll change the bases a bit because not all of them need to be that big but I'm truly impressed.
Same goes for the Creation Crystals: seems like there might be a couple molds to choose from but apparently the imaginite shards will be unique according to the Elements.
Which is fantastic, I was simply expecting recolors but this is awesome.

Anyway, a couple things I noticed from the SkyKids video:

- apparently when no Skylander or crystal is on the Portal you get two options: you can either restart the level as always or access something called M.A.P..
Open world, maybe (YES PLEASE)...?

- you can briefly see under Golden Queen's base and there is something weird under it, like a sticker or a paper piece, maybe because they are prototypes.
I couldn't make out any colored bases though.



M.A.P. might be the hub?

Me personally, I think Golden Queen and Wolfgang look pretty cool in dark colors. But I'm gonna wait until we get more Wave 1 details before making any decisions.

Could be.
The name may be an acronym of "Main Academy Palace" or something like that.

But it does sound suspiciously similar to the map feature we got in SuperChargers, except I believe we were never given the possibility to access it instead of playing the level again.

My hype just got higher only for that small detail. smilie

I'm annoyed that their using the Superchargers portal again... I hated that portal.. but whatever. I'll need a new portal anyone since I'm going on a different Platform. So this confirms Wolfgang for wave one right?

I don't know about that necessarily. Variants have released before their regular additions in the past.

Unless you're going to/from x360/XBone, your portal should be compatible.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal.
Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

Oh wow, didn't even notice the catchphrases for the characters in the site.

GD's "I Reign Supreme!" which is silly because that's not a pun. "Worth my weight in gold!" was better from TT.

King Pen is "Stay Frosty!"

Tri Tip is "Face the Mace!"

And of course, our own forum's catchphrase, "You can't handle life!". Don't put this one in the news thread.

I've still got my doubts about Dreamcatcher. She could use psychic powers to hold a weapon,sure, but without Sorcerer class what fits her, really? Buzzer Beak is also out of the question, and Krankenstein please don't be him.

Personally I think the one at 0:14 seconds is a sensei, he looks like he has not been customized at all, but he doesn't have a sensei belt, which I also find fishy.

Heard it's a good read, though the villains get half the space Skylanders did during Book of Elements.

I can't even tell what's going on in the picture. I just see the Tree Rex on the other corner and a bunch of blue, gold and purple.

Pretty sure they are both very well made Imaginators.
They really showcase amazingly the levels you can reach.

Pretty sure I won't aim for those crazy models like the other ones shown in the trailer or gameplays (a reptilian head, a random torso, human-like harms, mermaid tail).
I'll try to make my characters as close as possible to actual Skylanders, so no weird mashups.

Boring, I know, but I think I'll still enjoy playing with sizes, colors and personalities a lot! smilie
