I don't really care about RB because of the weird aesthetic, I just mentioned her since other users did.

I'd rather go for the characters with actual questions in their backstories. Hex's magician island/city/whatever,Fogshadow Tower and Nightfall's home of black jellyfish people, Cats' Eye Mountain and why Scratch's species is so obsessed with laser gems, etc etc. Those would make amazing levels, as Fizzland showed.

I'm more about a mix of backstory and gameplay. I'd rather see a stage where you explore a character's backstory, but at the same time, it has interesting gameplay mechanics that fit him.

For example, a Hex stage could have a special collectible item that gives money at the end of the stage, but can be used to make spells that help the player. He chooses what he wants. Just an example.

Look man, I'm all for sassy punk girls, but Cynder's got that and her element covered. Roller Brawl has a cursed helmet and THAT'S IT, at the most her vampire kisses in the Supercharger form.

Yes, but she's voiced by Cree Summers and that makes her 10 times cooler in my book.

Cynder is voiced by Cree Summer... Sometimes... Man they missed an opportunity at bringing her back for the Season 2 of Academy.

It's because the graphic style looks completely different to the style in Imaginators. That screenshot looks like Yooka Laylee or something.

Nope, just looked it up. Almost all the major retailers have it listed for 60. (Major retailers including Target, Best Buy, Gamestop, and Walmart)

Pretty sure it's just a mistake price of $75. They're $59.99

I don't know why anyone would bother trying to get it early. You can't play it until the system comes out, that game can be easily pre-ordered (for $59.99, $47.99 with Prime or GCU) and will not be hard to get and lastly there is no items in the package that aren't already available.

LIM is Lost Imaginite Mines, which is the name of Ro-Bow's Adventure Pack

This game has some of the best characters in the franchise without a doubt.

If I get imaginators for the Switch, I just want a download or the game by itself. Most folks who get it for the Switch most likely already own the game...don't need a "new" starter kit, OR they should do a solid and package it with different characters and/or expansion pack.

The roster this year was pretty good, it had some of my now favorite characters, like Starcast, Flare Wolf, Tidepool, Boom Bloom and of course Golden Queen. All of the characters are also very diverse with a differnet theme and playing style, like how Ember is all about defense and gets stronger the less health she has, while Mysticat's attack are all over the place.
I really hope that the new characters (if there really will be any) continue that.

Doesn't seem like it for the next two years. The wording on the Com2us mobile game announcement implies it's all existing characters, and if that one's 2018, we won't have anything this year other than SA.

But I think that if we have to keep the roster for a while(if that doesn't get cancelled and the worst comes to happen), it's a good point for a break. Still lacking some archetypes(where's my undead spider), but there's a Skylander for every family-friendly(and even some unfriendly) flavor.

There are 155 characters in total (+4 guest characters apart from the Spyro franchise), I strongly believe it's more than enough. Plus, with the Creation Crystals you can keep creating as much new characters as you want. It's definitely the best moment for a break, a good one.

And on an overly optimistic outlook, it gives TFB time to rebuild and actually polish entirely new designs. Because of their behind-the-scenes videos showed anything, is that pretty much half the cast is scrapped content from Giants.


Though... It's just wishful thinking. We don't even know if Murchie and I-Wei work there anymore.

I think both of them still are workinf for TfB, but I'm not sure at all now that you mention it. And yeah man, at least half of the characters from Trap Team and Imaginators were conceived during the development of Giants

Indeed, original designs of Golden Queen and above all Bouncer were WAY better IMO.

I like GQ as she is, but I still wish the Hindu(?)-inspired warrior shows up eventually. She had so much personality no matter the outfit at that stage. The knight design lives on as the Arkeyan Duelists, but c'mon.

Totally agree with you, that design absolutely rocks! They should do a new character based on that as they did with Barbella. Totally agree!
