Wasn't Grim Creeper supposed to be shown in a gameplay video? At least two sources (FamilyGamerTV and the other site with Rattle Shake and Hoot Loop names) promised to show more, but since now, nothing, aside of that picture, was shown!

how so? there will be 2 returning water characters. One is Chill. Have we seen the other (out of Gil Grunt, Wham Shell, Zap or Slam Bam)?

And yeah, that's a disappointing Chill. A pose with an Ice Block would have been much better and significantly different from the 2 poses we already have

did we really need yet another 8 Giants characters to buy? perhaps if they hadn't overlapped Lightcore figs (that is, the 8 LCs were unique, not just reposes) then not losing 8 would have made sense, but ultimately, as the franchise progresses, some characters will get dropped. The real question is "why do reposes of 24 characters?" not "why didn't they repose 8?"

I do hope they continue the convention of "renaming" the reposed characters. Gives them a bit more uniqueness so they don't feel like such a money grab but actually are something kinda new

So, is there something airing right now? Where are people hearing the confirmations of no to certain characters?

The way I interpreted what was said is that Grim Creeper and Star Strike would also have core versions. Also, I played around with the new updated site and found a little image sheet with Hoot Loop on it. He'll probably be the next to be "officially" revealed.

EDIT: Ah sweet, the boxes are cool. There's little subtle differences in each that makes them pretty unique- LC's have a pointed top, core figures have the curved pack with silver on it, and the swaplanders have a curved with a protruding circle blurb. Pretty neat looking and I'm glad they're trying some different package designs.

You know what, no one at E3, who has seen a Series 3 in action, has thought to ask one crucial question. That question is, "What about their Series 2 Wow Pows?" When I saw S3 Spyro being played, I didn't see his armored wings (Wow Pow). Infact, when he did the ground slam, I didn't see additional fireballs/shockwave at all.

Man, sometimes I wish I was at E3. I would be asking them questions left and right.

All I can assume, is that Series 2 Wow Pows are only for Series 2 figures, which is neat, but at the same time, I kind of wish S3 Wow Pows would stack on Series 2 Wow Pows. I mean, they could, but no one is apparently asking at the Skylanders booth.
