Got a lot more drop outs today. I often wonder if they drop out as they do not want to lose or they know that if they are going to lose, might as well drop out as only then do I get credit for wins and the often 10 coin win bonus.

On a separate note, I still have never seen the computer play the undead spell Graveyard Grudge Match. Have seen every other non-character specific card in the game played.

What does Graveyard Grudge Match do? Could be the AI never resorting to it.

Graveyard Grudge Match is a strange item to begin with, at least in the description, it says
"Two random enemies attack each other"

I am taking pictures of every card in the game, for fun, and its the only one I have not been able to get besides the grey stock in the collection if you do not own it.....minus a few character specific cards I need 1P opponents to play.

Looks almost placeholder-y, that's not what I'd expect from that name. Looking foward to that full list :3

Since not everyone might notice(I didn't), Dark52 put up a list of cards in the game page. Because of this, no need for me to keep reporting newly seen cards, though I'll probably still point out eyecatching art.

Apparently someone thought another subreddit was necessary, r/skybc, but apparebtly it was a verified dev. Just in case you guys want another resource for getting their attention on bugs.

Pretty interesting. I didn't think it's own subreddit would be here already but after checking the Play Store, it seems the playerbase has surpassed a sizable 1,000 downloads for Android.

So who knows. Perhaps the game will start getting a bit more exposure.... but at the moment its still empty.

Its still not on the regular Google Play Stores yet for folks in Australia, UK, Germany, Canada and USA, nor advertised, nor having the cards out yet, so not expecting a lot of play. At least the developers have plenty of folks to mess around in it. Minus the one Stealth Elf card not working every time and that magic arena not counting the coins right (at least when I did it), it seems to be working just fine. Have not had the pleasure of scanning cards but hopefully will find that out soon.

Still say most of the players I play in PvP are not real players. You can tell when its a real person most of the time, they occasionally pause. Played against one yesterday and it was painful. I could not tell if they were just lagged or slow in general or deliberately were trying to make me withdraw so they could get the coin bonus. I refused to draw. That 10 coin reward took forever but I was annoyed.

They probably need to implement a time limit. I remember one turn during Hearthstone beta where Trump would take over 10 minutes just to play 2 out of 4 cards in his hand.... Not many options yet his prudent indecisiveness was unbelievably hard for his opponents to tolerate.

So many cards, if the game arrives worlwide with all this stuff everyone'll have a competitive viable deck in no time.

This seems like a rendering issue, since the rest of the UI looks fine(though the game itself definately doesn't). They're probably trying to reduce lag from the card animations since they were buggy in the Magic Island update.

And still nothing for Android (at least here in Austria).

New update has not updated for me. Wonder if its out in NZ yet. Not finding it, any idea how I can get it?

Just aced the Life realm

Chompy Mage was unbelievably....... underwhelming as final boss, arguably the easiest gatekeeper out of all 8 islands. Even Broccoli puts up a better fight.

Won't spoil anymore but I'm definitely loving the daily 3 card pack. Even though the one I just opened were all commons (and all dupes ) it will definitely help new players get started off really well.

Well, we still have one more area to go. Can't go back on that when it's visible in the official screenshots.

For bugs, I think it's better to open a bug sticky as separate. Sancho can't really guess we're talking about this in the news topic. It worked for Superchargers much better than a thousand individual threads, too.

I would love a bug topic. I posted in the update section from the prior update but maybe one for this update alone would be grand. Game runs but I have two concerns so far with new update. Just finished Broccoli Guy for first time and did a PvP match (was a real person and a tough match) to see if that has changed. Does not seem it has changed. Card preview of what was recently played still exists there.

Go for it.

Didn't expect an update so soon so it's best to report any mishaps asap.

The android version just shipped in. I'll do a few play tests and see if anything crops up.

Though demo most likely means Cards to Life which is stupid since it's avaliable everywhere already, but hoping it's Fire Realm and an actual showcase of mechanics. Either way, that Spring date feels a little more believable when they bring it to a con.

I wonder what they mean limited cards. I mean any cards out now are limited even commons, I imagine they do not mean cards outside the 300 or do they. Wish I could go there.

I'm surprised Activision are using Battlecast as their only game to exhibit at such a renowned event in the UK. I'm very curious too what they mean by "limited" but who knows, it could be those cards you're meant to obtain from Cards to Life.

Could be just Spitfire and Stealth Elf... Again, but hoping for actual cards now, maybe holographic commons or something.

That was what I though, but I was pretty sure that you couldn't change your region to get it, so I was wondering how people that I know live in the UK where getting it.

VPNs and other stuff that messes with the phone's region,probably(again, don't know how legal that is, so don't ask me if you should do it). It's also not compatible with several phones that Cards to Life works with, so you'll have to get lucky even then.

I know its possible to do it, but not sure its worth the possible repercussions when the game does come out eventually in your region. Its definitely possible to switch to the NZ store to get it and if the game does not come out for 2-3 months, you could easily have over 200 of the 300 cards by then, but not sure how it does or does not work for some.

Finally someone posted an article on the Insomnia Games Festival showcase.

I find it kinda weird that people can't tell what's the identifier on individual cards that makes them single scan - it's the border. This is why the Trading Shield only covers that.
Also the cards shown are slightly more high quality, not sure. Was Spitfire always with a weird drop shadow over his background? Ingame that's definately not a thing.

It certainly sounds feasible judging how most of the PvE content is about complete.

With that conventio appearance mentioning Spring, seems like they're just putting random placeholder release dates and don't really know when either.

A good friend of mine talked to a MJ Holdings Rep yesterday while at a Walmart (the company that stocks Game Stop, Walmart and Toys R Us for their gaming cards) and he had nothing in his system for the next upcoming weeks. He never even has heard of it and said to check back later.

They might be handled like amiibo cards tho. If that's the case they would be in the system as electronics and not trading cards.

Just got my battlecast packs from New Zealand. 51 booster packs and 4 battle packs (only the one kind, they did not have both in stock).

Its going to be difficult to sell....folks may say, hey, the card did not scan and you can't prove who scanned it. Hopefully will just be trading with folks I trust.

I can safely say that ultimates are just as bloody hard in the packs as the game. Only have one so far (Whirlwind).

Also, the silver holograms and gold holograms are going to make getting sets more interesting.

Selling physical dupes will definitely be an issue and I'm not sure if scanning that card over preexisting cards you own digitally will level them up and render the card as taken. (I only tried with the universal SE and Spitfire cards so my anecdote is rather moot)

I read somewhere on their FAQ that the game may offer digital trading though not much details were revealed when and how it will be implemented. Regardless there's still going to be some hazards heading in this direction.

I imagine it will be like getting a duplicate card via a booster pack, you will get 20 coins up to who knows. I can now scan a gold version of a card and get more data.

My packs are now opened. I got 7 ultimate cards in my 51 regular cards and 4 booster packs. I am partly annoyed I never got Jet Vac or the card I really wanted, that epic card of Hex. Still, lots of cards to figure out what to do with, which ones to scan, which ones to trade, sell, etc.

Definitely none of the last 30 cards added were in these packs. Time will tell if those 30 will be added when they come worldwide or not.

Lol I can understand the frustration considering one of the booster packs has Jet-Vac as its package cover.

If we ever plan on completing a full circle collection then it's understandably going to be even tougher as the gap closes. Digital trading might mitigate the frustration but the collection number will still remain the same.

I recently rolled a double booster from the daily spin and all I got was no more than 4 new cards including two dupe rare Skylanders (one of them being Jet-Vac....)

This is probably a tentative statement but Unlisted Leaf recently announced the game might be in full launch by April 14th. So literally this week.

He's doing a giveaway and all sorts after Activision sent him a mountain of packs + a iPad pre-installed with you know what. Game should be arousing more hype!

Ok, with our reference being the main games, when Acti sends care packages, they mean it. Fingers crossed. No announcement or buildup is still weird though.
