I put caps lock by accident because sometimes I type in capital letters for something and forget to take them off.

Uh, this topic doesn't say "The sequel" in the title because it's about the Skylanders sequel. It's a sequel to an older topic about Skylanders 1 news and it is still (obviously) very relevant, especially considering that there is still unreleased stuff for the first game.

Huh. 236 days? That would place a drop date for Giants at...October 20th. Although those other times may indicate a 21st release, which is a Sunday so that seems more likely.

EBgames today told me they have the officail date in nov. now. I preordered a few weeks ago when it was suppose to be oct but has been moved back The giants will also cost $15 each canadian.

Sounds more like the price for the new game with the figures included rather than the individual price. More than likely it was misread or improperly worded.

Aye gotta question.... I want wreckin balls and drobots heroic challenge (speed) but I dont really want to buy them.... if I borrow a friends, will I get the heroic challenge (without resetting) or do I have to own the skylander in order to get the challenge?

You have to own ot or reset it.

To get "credit" for having a Skylander that has been used: Open the Saved File that you want the Heroic Challenge. Put the Skylander on the Portal in the Ruins (or in an active level). Hit Select (PS3 or whatever button to see the Skylanders Stats), move to the third screen and click the "Manage Ownership." Click "Okay" to change the ownership to you. You get Credit for having the Skylander (Your collection screen shows the Skylander, you add a Skylander to your Skylander Total, the Heroic Challenge is Open, and you get the Elemental Bonus).

Your Friend's Save File will not be affected. If your friend really cares, they can do the same thing when he/she gets home.

You can do this multiple times if you have separate Save Files.

Side Note: Because you can read Skylanders through the Package, you can do this with new, unopened purchases. If you don't like the Skylander, you could feasibly reset the Skylander and return it. This would not harm the Skylander and ensure the next person to buy it won't have any issues when they use it. This could be used to get "Credit" for having Skylanders, but not having to pay for them all.
