The figures look amazing. Starcast is by far the best one, I adore the glittery plastic and the green shimmer on his hair. Barbella looks also really nice, especially when you hold her in the light sideways. Mysticat looks very clean and detailed and Aurora's armor is fabulous. I was lucky and the only Ember in the store had a straight blade and a good face. Also got the round Water Crystal and the egg-shaped Magic Crystal.

@Haedox drama -
"Respectful" reminds me of how he stuck in his argument that "no one will remember these characters" and he's been forcing that point with the sublety of an anvil in his review. There's nothing respectful about pulling reasons out of your ass and lying to keep them afloat.

But on a brighter note, The chompys he shoots do follow him around. Although he seemed quite surprised to be a bazooker himself. We got to see his upgrading screen, but not all of it.

Found a minor error: Big Bubble Pop Fizz' HUD/collection icon is actually Birthday Bash BB Pop Fizz, with fully red goggles instead of red and brass, and blue instrument instead of brass.

BTW, don't think anyone have commented on it, but the title screen (before the menu itself) makes me think of LEGO Dimensions, due to the way the letters of "Imaginators" move around.

EDIT: And interestingly, the Volcanic Vault's label calls it an Adventure Pack.

Yeah, EA probably paid them to say the game was horrible, because I think a few of their "newer" games are coming out soon and they don't want competition.

Are any of the crystals in the 8 pack exclusive to it? I hate to buy stuff not wanting to miss out and then I have to buy the 8 pack for 1 or 2 crystals and have a bunch of doubles. Is the 8 pack definitely because released in all countries? I would wait, but again, don't want to miss out on anything.

They give Skylanders a 7 every year. It's not a big deal.

I have counted 18 total crystals for 1st day release wave 1 and wave 2 including starter and adventure packs. For anyone in a country that has had a release and gotten them all, is this accurate?

In the crystal 8-pack is a dark crystal!

I managed to get 1 crystal of each type, 13 different ones in total. I will see if I can get some other ones later today.

I have taken the crash bandicot pack, the included crystal is not exclusive. I do not know if the ones in the dark starter pack are.

I find crystal variations way more difficult to spot than the traps from Trap team. It is a bit challenging and I have not yet found an app to help.

I've responded to you're points in the order you posted them.

How do you know he's lying? If he really does feel that the characters aren't memorable then he should be allowed to say so without attacked.

When he says that the game "violates his childhood", what he means is that he grew up with Spyro, and it hurts him to see a corporation use him to promote a franchise that has absolutely nothing to do with the character (Crash is different because he's being included as a cameo, and wasn't originally one of the selling points of the game. Spyro is now damned to Skylanders for as long as Activision decides to keep the series going. Until Skylanders games stop being made, Spyro will never have his own solo game.

From what you have described, Haedox never harassed anyone on this forum. He called them cancer because they couldn't handle hearing an opinion that was different from their own. Is that really harassment?
Meanwhile, the fandom continuously attacked Haedox for no reason other than the fact that he thought differently than them. The majority of people on here were NOT "voicing their displeasure and keeping respect". They were blatantly attacking him.

Maybe Haedox was in the wrong with the incident with Eric, maybe he wasn't. I don't know, but I'm not going to come to any conclusions until I can confirm what really happened for myself.

I never said that I agreed with what Haedox was saying, just that he should be allowed to say it without being attacked. I somewhat agree with you. I doubt he chose unpopular characters on purpose (he probably just chose a few random ones), but you do have a point.

For a Spyro fan, I'm surprised you don't feel more strongly about this. Regardless, you might have been able to look over it because you actually enjoy Skylanders. Haedox does not. He sees it as a cash grab with very little appeal. You and Haedox feel differently about the series, so obviously you're both going to feel differently about Spyro being tied to it, and it's going to be easier for one of you to get over it.

If I stated an opinion online and then got attacked by people purely because they didn't agree with me, I probably wouldn't be very fond of those people. Even if you consider what Haedox said to harassment, it has nothing and the countless insults that he's received from people on this forum.

Two wrongs don't make a right. I regret getting my jimmies rustled at the time but it's not a greenlight for everyone to do their worst. I don't even bring it up unless someone is asking nowadays since it's frustration that I should never dwell on.

Just read it. Eric got way too defensive and seemed to take it personally. Haedox probably shouldn't have jumped to conclusions about the entire show going by a screenshot, but since he didn't enjoy the Skylanders games, he isn't expecting to enjoy the show. But yes, you're partly right. Haedox should have waited for more material to come out before bashing the show.

I can understand that, except I wouldn't really consider saying things like "I hate you all" and "This entire series is cancer" and nothing else to be "defending himself". And to my knowledge I don't think (I may be wrong on this) anyone on the forums really went out of their way to harass him. And for the record I think his videos were first shared by CountMoneyBone in another one of his "the franchise is dying and here's why" phases.

I had an idea for a money hack but it involves the old items from previous adventure packs. Based on the vids. we've seen the old treasure items only grant gold but it appears to be once per profile. So why not just use all your treasure items on a new profile then delete it and then do it again? Basically just keep making new profiles and then deleting them, then rinse and repeat.

That takes WAY too long

If you have a second controller you're doing it for 2 Skylanders at a time, I'd wager it might take maybe 5-7 minutes to scan all the treasure items.
