Also, I just thought of something... stores will more than likely be FLOODED with these mystery chests on the shelves. Sure people may buy some, but overall they will be shelf warmers. This means that many stores like Gamestop will almost definitely have a ton of good deals on them, maybe even getting the chests free with a Skylander purchase or something. In that case, they'll be a good thing since we'll be paying next to nothing for them, if anything.

Buuuut I wouldn't mind a proper site update (that is the damage control I was talking about some pages ago, I think Aura asked) since the only videos I'm going to see are the Meet the Skylanders ones.
Plus backstories, catchphrases, better look at toys and proper HD screenshots of course

No Soul Gems previews or Shrines for me.

The dude I had a private chat with on Reddit

implied that the Cartoon Network video featuring Jeremy Shada and his "Gnarfunk" character 3D printed through the Creator App was supposed to be revealed on Oct 3. It kind of makes sense to start this up now, since they just finished the last community contest on Friday.

(Note: Not a game spoiler... just a potential marketing one.)

There are also his other youngest sons, Chance and Shawn. Should the oldest children move on from Skylanders, the dad will probably focus on his young sons and wife on Skylander videos.
