No news on Giants in the UK means I find this on page 4. Sigh.
Anyway buzz the prices for Skylanders at Sainsbury's needs changing, as quite predictably, they have gone up.
Anyway * IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*
You want the Exclusive Glow in the Dark edition of Skylanders Giants, but don't want to pay over the odds for it?
You really, really want it but can't afford it?
Well now you can with the "New releases to play for 99p" offer from GAME stores UK. "What is this offer?" I here you ask. Well I'll show you.
You preorder the starter pack from here (must do this online and must be the Xbox 360 or PS3 version):
http://www.game.co.uk/webapp/w...earchBtn=Search
And then when you recieve the game through the post you take two games from the following list into your local store, along with your reciept, and get a refund for the game minus 99p. This can be done up to two weeks after the games release.

"But I don't have any of those games?" Why all the questions, I reply. Well you can buy a couple of them games preowned or even new for less than £14 each making the Glow in the Dark edition of Skylanders Giants a grand total of, dun dun dun, £28.99.

Small print. The final cost of the game does not include petrol, parking charges and or driving fines incurred by taking advantage of this deal.
This was confirmed by Live Chat and I will not be held responsible if I was quoted wrong or the offer changes.
I wouldn't advise buying the preowned/new games to trade in until a couple of days before Skylanders release as the list of tradeable games may change.
I would assume that this is instore credit so you will still need the £64.99 on your card to pay for it originally, but you end up only spending £28.99 (approx) and you will recieve £59/£64 back making you a profit of £35.01 to spend on Skylanders toys or Wii U thingamebobs.
