Unless it was obtained by connections(there are cases of employees slipping out games and then being forced to get them back or lose the job), ShadowStorm wouldn't be able to make up for it even if he tried. It wasn't just him that got the game, it's an actual mistake where preorders were sent before street date.
Thus, no blame on him, just the store. SS can do what he pleases as long as it doesn't get on Acti's bad side.

Eh, it's not so much directly blaming, but I think more strictly limiting the information of how the early copy was obtained would have been more ideal in this situation. I'd be lying if I said my own personal biases weren't affecting my reaction to the situation, though.

The Creator App does require syncing directly with your console in the creation menu.

They obviously couldn't access it any further without the app, but the direct syncing likely implies that the part/gear collections are probably directly linked e.g. What you have unlocked on your console will allow you access to the same items on the app.

Direct syncing is a good sign.

It's the type of thing that might support the function to make character templates transferable/savable between the tablet and console.

We'll have to wait and see though.

But can't you not sync a phone to the Wii U?

Sure, it's possible to sync a smartphone to the WiiU. See Just Dance for example, it can even let you control the game with your phone only.

Also I think the Facebook video also showed us the last Unknown sentinel technique. A long elevated spinning jump and staff slam . --- SA & Giants are the best skylanders games. Wow, Tidepool really is this universe's Deadpool. That coreography is just slightly out of the usual Skylanders style to tip you off.
