Back story is ace.

Attack wise i understand why people think she might seem a little bland . But I think it's kinda cool she's not relying on obvious magic powers . She's purely and simply a warrior . They didn't highlight a personality though so hopefully it's a bit more animated.

Her sky chi is literally too fast to see lol.

I think considering her relation to eon they could've given her a portal master like sky chi . Like summoning in some warriors through a portal. like leading into battle lots of mabu That like hitting things with sticks lol

I think she'll have a really impressive combo path to pick .

My roomie always wants the female characters, since there weren't a lot of decent female game characters when she was growing up. And I'm fine with that. I'll buy Aurora (technically already did, since I preordered on Amazon an hour ago), but she's a shelf-warmer as far as I'm concerned.

her story might open up the world for more portal masters in the next game.
I'm not expecting her parents though, something about her backstory makes me think she's an orphan.

But it's really nice to see them expanding on eons backstory at the same time as introducing a new "species" to the skylanders.

True, a mixture of species could also be plausible, like with whirlwind.Hopefully we'll get more hints through a potencial dialogue between her and máster eon in Game.

The forth one might be pushing a rock protruding out of the earth forwards. Hopefully those last 2 upgrade to something a bit more interesting. --- SA & Giants are the best skylanders games. I was hoping she would have had full control over all the Elements (except maybe for Dark) and an ability to summon lesser "Skylanders" but I understand that she can't since she hasn't been trained by Eon to become a Portal Master.

She could still have some surprising aces up her sleeves.

Aurora's backstory is nice, but not even that can save her gameplay. Her Sky-Chi has literally NO difference from King Pen's, her exploding swords look like they behave just like Sprocket's mines, and her sword attacks are exactly like the Charger attack for Swashbuckler Imaginators. She's the canon version of Frankenlander (A Skylander toy made from a bunch of other skylander parts, and how TfB suggested Swappable Skylanders to V.V)

Actually, it's the other way around. Imaginator movesets seem to be made out of their Senseis' attacks, or at least two of them, as are the secret techniques even if they only unlock one.

It's not just creepy, it's nonsensical. If it was like, armor made for Eon that she wore wrong, it'd be a funny thing that you'd have a laugh if you read the backstory. But here you're trying to convince she walked around like that and NO ONE put two and two together or issued a restraining order.

Same. Whether they're close ranged like Stealth Elf or Long Ranged like Stormblade, I love the fast ones.

It can't just be attack speed though, they need mobility too.

(I dislike Trigger Happy because he can't stay at a distance.)

I agree. Her positions look so uncomfortable. It looks odd as well.
