No problem. I just tried putting some Skylanders into a different lunch bag I had, I managed to fit all the life, air, Undead, Tech and Eruptor figures into the bag (19 total). It's not designed for this and figures were quite tight, but it might be an idea for anyone wanting another storage solution.

My tesco had 10 racks of em, 5 shelves and 3 cardboard displays!

Our Tesco has a lot (although no Dark Spyros!). That's about it though.

It's comforting to know that these are considerably easier to come by nowadays. I hope this continues with Giants so I don't have the panic on like I did with the original series.

Hello portal masters

So recently I've had this strange obsession with Just Dance games so decided to trade in loads of games at GAME so I could pick it up (and also free up some shelf space for upcoming games) and after thinking I would get pennys I ended up with £35 trade in credit so I bought Just Dance 3 and Stump Smash and still have a couple quid to spare

I love how the Buy Skylanders site has the creepy ghetto prototype Skylanders on it, hahahah.

I'm wondering, in regards to Giants, whether to keep my 3DS pre-order just for the starter set, or to pay out to get Punch Pop Fizz. Problem is, will he be like Dark Spyro and eventually become available, I wonder... Just don't really want/need another 3DS portal, is all!

Any hoo just like to let people know that TRU Collier's Wood has some Skylander posters in stock. Here they are on the publisher's site. Collier's Wood has all the posters bar the "Giant Spyro about to crush the other Skylanders!" one. The large posters are, I think £3.99 and the small ones are £1.99.

I'm not in the UK anymore, but I'm from there and my Dad says Asda as tons of them, idk which, but he was trying to describe them, and it was pretty comical.

Yep, I think they have the Dino-Rang pic somewhere on their site too. I find it interesting that they used Flocked Stump Smash as the image for regular Stump Smash!

I'm back again, after multiple failed attempts at phoning Activision I decided to take the plunge into this Twitter stuff. Within a few hours I got a reply from Activision when I replied to their tweet on Skylanders and asked about the Sidekicks coming out of the US:

"@Acti_Insider: Hey hope you enjoyed you enjoyed yourself at the Skylanders Tour! No word on sidekick characters yet I'm afraid - stay tuned!"

Not much but a LOT better that the ignores or scripted answers that I have gotten previously.

eoi is readily available from every single shop that sells skylanders near me
all legendary ones will be hard but my english aunts and uncles might club together and buy me them
and i have an american auntie getting the sidekicks for me so i should have them by christmas
im only going to buy variants if its a really good offer (im in talks with a guy about a blue bash) otherwise im not wasting all my money

only bad thing about living in scotland is the fact it always rains =]

I re-called Asda today and they were able to pull up my file on Red Drill Sarg, apparently they are waiting on the "Buyer" to get back to them. The (different) Claire I spoke to was all apologetic to me for the delay. All we can do is wait.

Any news about the skylanders collecting cards?.....which stores will they sold in?

You mean these? I remember seeing a poster depicting the release date of 20th September for these, so it might be the first week of October before they hit shops. I would expect WH Smith and TRU to supply these since they supply those kind of things anyway.

I got back onto the line to Asda about the Red Drill Sarg. After re-re-explaining the who WERDS story, the woman (Claire #3) said she would follow it up and call me back. After about 15-20 minutes later, she did saying that my "local" store (I said it was Greenhithe, it is really but it's a 25-30 minute train ride away) had Red Drill Sarg on the shelf and I should pop in and grab him.

However I do get the feeling that perhaps she misinterpreted my querie and all that is in Greenhithe are regular red Drill Sargs and not Clear Red Drill Sargs.

Can anyone living near an Asda check this out?

Right. With just over a month until Giants i'm begging to worry that i'm not going to be able to complete my collection! I still need the Legendary 3 pack to complete my core 37 figures. Does anyone know of a tru in the berkshire area that has them in stock? I also want a red drilly from america but that's for a different thread!

I didnt know they had a feature like that? How do i find it?

I've just checked and it's been removed. You used to be able to go to an item's page, pop in your postcode and the system would check the stock in the nearest TRUs.

The only options I can think of are to contact TRU's Facebook page, ask your local store or call the unhelpline. Of course there is always eBay

Heads up - The Entertainer store have the small Skylanders backpack for £5 on offer.

I will admit I have NEVER heard of this shop before, just found them while trying to hunt down Skylanders towels. They are missing photos but have listings for Talking plushes, bed sheets and [skylander] with portal (whatever that means).

I know it's against the rules and stuff but i've checked my two not-so-local toys'r'us' and neighter have the legendary trio in stock . With only 20 or so days 'till release of Giants i'm worried about completing my collection! I was wondeing if anyone's local has them in stock and if you'd be willing to get one for me and send it to me? I'll pay of course! Sorry for rule breaking etc. forgive me.

Bit of background as this is my first post...

Got into Skylanders a bit late but we have a small independent shop and we started selling Skylanders so had to get up to speed.

Anyway, got the game last month and quickly built up my collection through 3-4-2 offers and reductions etc.

Luckily picked up a Blue Bash at TRU and a Legendary Trigger Happy (my local TRU at Bolton has loads) but had no other rare ones.

So to complete my basic collection I only need Cynder and Wham Shell.

Been checking local Tesco, Game and other stores but no luck.

So tried TRU today as a last chance and found 5 LEGENDARY TRIPLE PACKS on the shelves.

For some reason in 4 out of the 5 packs Chop Chop had come loose and in one of those his arm had broken off.

But the good news is that the Legendary 3 packs are still out there. Was only thinking yesterday that I had no chance of getting one short of eBay and then 5 appear.

Just hoping Cynder and Wham Shell turn up so easily.

Hmm i need the 3 pack... hope you're right! might check tru on thursday as a last ditch attemt 'cause i cant win at a decent price on evilbay
