I feel that way as well. It works fine on Tri Tip but it's ugly on Pit Boss.

Feeling the same way with this change also. So far it seems that it's change for change's sake. No explanation as to why the original Black/very Dark Blue) & Gold scheme was changed for the Red & Gold scheme; the figures that are originally Legendary colored scheme (such as Pit Boss) could have had another regular color scheme without being similar to the classic Legendary color scheme. Perhaps there will be an in game explanation for the new Legendary colors, that would be nice, since every game prior has had the normal Legendary color scheme; it's kind of like the same sense of having Nitros being bright green instead of Yellow, for example.

I really like the red and gold scheme for Senseis. A lot of them already have black/blue/gold color schemes so it's nice to see them being mixed up. I really like the shade of red too.

I liked the navy blue and gold color scheme better than the new one but, I also think the new shade of red is also cool.

I didn't take any pictures (Though I wish I could've now that you bring it up). And I still don't know how to upload pictures.

I went to GameStop today as well, and they don't have pre-orders up for anything other than the Starter Packs (and didn't know of anything Skylanders Weekend either)... Was the ad released a week early or something?

Yeah, that exact listing was found... yesterday, I think?

Considering Gryphon Park Observatory was only called "Observatory" on the TRU product list, "Treehouse" is definitely only a short version of the full name. I wonder what it is...

EDIT: Also, most if not all listings call the Crash+Cortex pack an "Expansion" in the title, so I'm starting to think it's more appropriate to call Thumpin' Wumpa Islands an Expansion Pack, rather than an Adventure Pack. Makes sense to me, as it's a really massive level, separate even from Skylands.

I think this is my favorite new variant we've seen throughout the whole series. Red and gold looks so much better than navy blue and gold.

And the golden packages are beautiful, by the way.

The South African site that keeps being mentioned had the 8 pack date listed the same as wave 1 and 2 (8th of November for them ).

the dark crystal is meant to be exclusive-ish to the dark starter pack for a bit so I think it's likely to be wave 2 or 2.5 ( similar to the TT 8 trap pack) considering what molds appear to be in it, but I'm not completely trusting that mold line up yet.


^ ^ ^Also anyone think the light element molds are lacking some texture compared to the rest? The other elements colours look almost metallic, but light element just looks... White.

It makes sense why Legendary Tri-Tip is being released day one. Since Tri-Tip is in Wave 2 people will want to snap up the popular character before Day One. It means more money for Activision.

I think he was just elaborating a cool idea.

He is going to create a water smasher that holds an axe with his creation crystal and he will call him Chill Axe. It's going to be his very one custom skylander that sound neat to me. I cant wait until he post a picture of it when he gets his stuff in about 28 days or so. I like where you are going with this. We all are going to have our very own custom skylanders soon.

I can see how you thought that. When I first saw normal Tri-Tip on Day 1, I thought it was Wallop with a new weapon, which fooled me into thinking they would reuse the Trap Masters.

Upon rereading, I get it now. Initially, "Water smasher with an axe named Chill Axe." registered as "Water smasher, with an axe named Chill Axe." instead of "Water smasher with an axe, named Chill Axe."

I thought he was talking about an Imaginator weapon we didn't know about.

Actually, it does.
He has a green effect on his hood and robe, and his golden belt is now silver.
I think it's just hard to notice because of all the reflection effect on Senseis' artworks.

I know my opinion is irrilevant but Steel Plated are probably the worst type of variants created, and I'm not sure why they choose Hood Sickle to get one of them.

so far we are up to 7 variants... they dont hold back on the plastic this year either.

Bah, I wanted them to fix up their Steel issue and make the green a better shade. Oh well, He looks a little better than Smash Hit at least.

That has to be the worst looking green tone I've ever seen.
