That guy is a quite popular rapper over in france and several of his songs were top seller (though I really don't get why but that's another story) and he is the first french big name to dub in Skylanders (the rest was done by not very well known voice actors) so I guess they considered it to be worth a video for the french audience.

I think the polar bear looks nice. It's a simple design yet it fits. Also the name is pretty good.

I like the design so much I may actually buy a 3rd water crystal to make this guy!

He has a very simple design... too simple. Why would they choose a character with such boring parts? I hoped for the crow lady to win, so that we'd get a dress that I can use for Lapis. Honestly every character would've given more unique parts than just a furry chest, a bear head and legs with a short and simple robe. Really disappointed, I can't believe that the same people made characters like Hex, Ninjini, Starcast etc.

Yup, the contest was simply creativity and effort(not exactly relating to art quality), not who had the best part idea.

That said, the Bear is a swashbuckler. Of course we're not getting real legs for them or his cool weapon for that matter.

At least the entry had the most effort put into it out of all the competition. Strange how they didn't include the headwear, but whatever... I'm cool with it! And even if I wasn't, there are hundreds of other parts I could choose from. I see no reason to complain and be an ass about it.

That's not head wear, but his other Axe Weapon.

The character fits well into the SkyLanders Universe IMO.

I think they chose him because of the effort it took to create him, He had created an actual figurine for the contest.

There's like 800 parts, there's bound to be a dress in there already.

I think the polar bears pretty good considering the options. They should've made him a bit " fatter" though , his waist looks too small .

I don't think it mattered exactly which one was gonna win, the parts were gonna be a watered down version of the creation anyway . It looks like they chose the design that would still look like the original creation , coz you could tell from the start a lot of the drawings would look very different in the imaginators studio. E.g. The preying mantis , even though I wanted it to win for the scythe arms.

On the plus side because a water imaginators won we got to see 2 water element imaginators abilities

1 : water balloon bubble bouncer - looks fun for a frog skylander

2. Ice block maker/ slider

Yup, the head is existing. The legs and arms match though, but it's still super cheap the winner didn't get what he was promised of the character being truly put in the game as Imaginator parts.


Huh, interesting note about Air Strike. Was checking some high quality screenshots, his ponytail is feathers, it's not the same texture as his hair.

BurrbearIan is cool, I wish my skylander Flamechuck could have won, but it's fine, I'll make him in game as close as I can in his drawing.

I kinda understand with the annoyance of Burrbearian's head already being in the game. Though, at the same time (and this is just my outlook on it), I feel like there's no point in designing a brand new part when there's already a similar part that'd work just as well.

I would agree, except we're talking about the same creation studio that so far has like 10 different human heads available with slightly different hair cuts.

At best the head we're left with is close to a koala, but bears look completely different.

Mmmmh... It could be an incredible coincidence, but the Crystal does look the same, in the exact same position actually.

But at this point I'm not getting my hopes up: they could have simply used some dev tool to reset it.
Because they do have it, they simply don't want us to use it as well.

I saw TRU street date sheet today. All Imaginators are Dated for 10-16-16 except for Dr Crankcase 10-28-16 and no listing for Chompy mage. This is getting interesting?
