I doubt they would go back to LoS. There's no reason for them to.

If anything, I'd imagine a Spyro game just set in Skylands - with the other Skylanders as NPCs, perhaps.

Doubt they'd go for LoS, but at the same time, there is a possibility, as there is strong evidence to suggest that Skylander Spyro IS LoS Spyro (just redesigned, obviously).

I think Skylanders has done so well that I doubt they would go back. People have really gotten into the other Skylanders and I doubt they would suddenly "remove or forget" them. If they did release a solo Spyro game, it would be along side Skylanders 2 or somthing, but I personally think it is very doubtful.

I think the LoS games could continue easily (it's a video game, anything can happen), but I won't get into my various ideas.

I'd rather have LoS be left alone. We don't need another pointless 4th game in gaming.

I don't know what I'd rather. I wouldn't mind if the made new LoS games if they REALLY expanded it, and blew me out of the water. If they made something that good with LoS, I couldn't complain.

But then again, considering how TFB's work on Skylanders is making me apprehensive about that game, I'm not sure if I'd like the idea of them making an LoS game too.

I see many similarities between Ripto and Kaos, anyone agree? That said, perhaps in the next game we'll see Ripto emerge as the new main villain to avange his brother/cousin/friend.

^I kind of expected them to end up similar. From what I have seen, Kaos kind of is like the second coming of Ripto.

They can't be that similar if you have to really look at it. I watched a few videos of this game which had Kaos in and he doesn't remind me of Ripto at all.

It'll be 5-10 to ten years until we see another Spyro game because if Spyro gets a new game much like older ones and modeled Spyro back to his original form shortly a year or two after Skylanders, children who played Skylanders will get mad and hate what they see.

Also, what if they just continue Skylanders? You don't have to play it if you don't want to.

If they continue Skylanders, I'll just carry on playing the ones I like when I like.

I didn't. They're considered ugly, both have a short man complex, both want to rule the world (okay, standard villain thing I know), both are very over the top with emotions (highly angry,don't handle defeat well,etc),they mock thier adversary like they're nothing while at the same time hating them for beating them, they're both very cruel and demanding of thier minions, they're both comical. I'm sure I could go on if I took time to recall.

If you look at Ripto carefully, he's not actually short. In Gulp's arena, you can note he is four times Spyro's height. The reason he appears to be short is because of the fact he is next to Gulp and Crush often, Gulp being bigger than a full grown hippopotamus (only much taller), and Crush is in the neighborhood of 10'. So it's really hard to designate him as short fairly when he is around monstrous gargantuan creatures on a regular basis.

He is easier to measure in Ripto's boss battle, but even then, you must consider Spyro's proximity to Ripto and the fact the camera is quite zoomed out.

There are Orbs, from Spyro 2, in the game as part of the treasure.

That is one of the main things putting me off the game. From the footage I've seen, I could clearly tell that a lot of the characters were basically variations of each other, for the most part. And it doesn't look like pulling off huuge combos and juggles is possible, due to the nature of the moves and the lack of manual jump.

Of course, I'm only speaking of the console versions, not the 3DS version. I've yet to see more of it, and will do so soon.

To be honest I have lost my mad "got to get all the figures in one go" mindset for a little while now. The game is great and I will get all the figures as and when (mabey 1 a month or somthing) but with lack of online gameplay I just have other games I could play with freinds online that don't involve meeting up in person just to play all the time.

But the figures are unique enough to have a diffrent feel of gameplay to them. Its diffrent watching the game to actually playing and the spilt upgrade paths really help seperate ability's in unique way.

Well, THAT Top Ten was disappointing.

Went to Walmart and sure enough, I was able to buy Wrecking Ball, Dino-Rang, and Hex. I count myself lucky though, as i only saw one of two of the characters and two of the third, and there was no drill sergeant there when last week I saw the one that was there and bought it. It's all about timing.

As far as the release date, the dates might be shuffled. I don't think we ever had a huge confirmation that the new characters wave was Nov. 15 or 18. We just came up with that because of spanish amazon, right? Anyways, at least Walmart has a vision to suggest sell the characters. It's probably in their favor to put out as much merchandise as they can during this time of the season. Remember guys, Christmas is not that far away.

That is one of the most hilarious things I've seen.

i just noticed something, in the wii version, the one i have, when i press preview character, it only shows the video of them being in that blue sky and running aroud posing and stuff, and nothing more. no gameplay, no nothing. whys that o3o

^That happens on mine too. I think it's supposed to do that.

The Wii version didn't have enough space to add the gameplay I suppose.

...kinda sad. oh well, at least the credits is flynn talking.. oh! i also noticed a glitch in the water fight between kaos and zap. if dark zap covers you in slime, and you defeat him while you are 'slimey' it wont go away. but your speed comes back.

Hmm I have the wii version and I have never had this problem. It shows the whole video for me. Wonder why?
