Strangely, she decided to use standard block paints to paint him, but it doesn't look bad for a first-timer in my opinion.

I didn't make this one, a friend made him to celebrate trap team, but I did start my own custom thats not finished yet, its a starry flashwing, I also picked up an extra Chopper that I want to make with rusted armor and less vibrant colors.

I'm working on one today that I want to call Treasure Cynder. Just need to pick up a lighter silver... only one I have currently is the dark one I used on Chopper's machine parts.

Today I decided to paint my duplicate version of Roller Brawl. I got her in a triple pack along with Turbo Jet Vac and Fire Bone Hot Dog. My day job is actually commission painting miniatures from Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40’00 and Warhammer Fantasy ranges so I had a wide variety of paints, tools and techniques which helped me paint my custom Snowler Brawl.

Most impressive Dezartfox. Very NICE work...i see you used almost all the tricks of the trade on your Snowler Brawl. You have got some tiny tiny brushes to beable to do the detail you did on her mouth like you did....amazing work bro. Congratz.
I like her gauntlet fangs/blades the best, nice marbling technique...also the carrot noses on all the skulls is a nice touch.

Just bought three Giants Triple packs on reduced price 3 for 2, so 9 figures for £10. Have ideas on what to paint most of them like already!

Wish I could do that as fast :U My Trap Team figures... Don't look the best(Krypt King has an extra bulb on his gauntlet, Blades has a tiny but very visible hole in his ribs, Snapshot and Food Fight are full of paint splatters), and I can fix them, but the time to sit down, plan the paints and be sure if I really need to fix things with a knife is just too much compared to just drawing something or recording game footage ._.'

You do not suck....you just don't have the skill level that he has....(i.e. practice as much as he has....you know the old say'in "practice makes perfect")

Your Metallic Whirlwind looks just fine...remember he dose this for a living...you have been doing this for how long Dezartfox?

Also Bifrost that is why he dose them so fast...it is like second nature now. By watching his videos an seeing all the technics(tricks of the teade ) he uses and how he uses them, i would say he's been doing this for a ..long ...time...lol.

Yeah been doing this a very long time and managed to make a full time career out of it.

Practice makes perfect. The more you paint and develop your skills the better you'll get. I read endless tutorials and watch loads of videos on painting miniatures but the main thing is just perfecting your own style through continual practice

I'm working on a clay dreamcatcher on top of an air trap (air hourglass to be exact) after that I'll try and make a Chompy, but that will be much more complicated. I'll post Pics of Dreamcatcher when She's done ( the clay is drying right now actually.)

EDIT: The Chompy looks GREAT! I don't have the paints for it quite yet, but I have a body, two eye stalks, and two arms, that I will glue together with a hot glue gun after painting. I'm using a life trap as the base, and I'll have to use a power tool to cut the top of the trap off.

I'm also working on hats that the figures can wear. Right now I have a black top hat ready, and a santa hat, kickoff hat, and a toilet plunger hat, all freshly painted, and drying downstairs!

I'm gonna make a fully-functioning Chomp chest figure.

I saw one built on to the trap that seems to fully function.

but my plan is..

1. remove a RFID from earth base (done)

2. take out rfid from earth trap and insert in base

3. make clay chomp chest figure

4. attach figure and seal base

5. have chomp chest figure.

I don't think that it can be used in a portal, ZapNorris. Usually the traps don't seem to activate until the bottom is completely in place for me, meaning you can't just put the chip on top of that are and expect it to work.
