The fire is great but it really doesn't matter on what is cool sometimes. Oil Baron is truely supreme from what i've seen.

this path is great since giants need their speed i thought it would be cool to upgrade the path which had his flying upgrade in. i love smilie on this path, i dont find his wasp form useful.
fright rider: joust jockey
:rider: smilie is like bash. joust is for speed and lance is for power. for bash i went for power but with :rider: i picked speed and it makes him boss, nice attacks.
jet vac bird blaster
well, i gotta say smilie is underratted, so much hate for him, bird blaster makes him one of the best air guys. sucking things up gives him gives him a huge blast!
chill ice lancer
ice lancer makes her a boss. i love smilie on this path. stay cool guys!
tree rex: i dont know, smilie looks like a boss on both paths though.


smilie Not for PvP, Bird Blaster is AWFUL in PvP and is arguably one of the worst paths in the game. The "maximum" damage for the blaster only increases by 4 points and the super shot needs enemies for ammo, which do not exist in PvP sadly.

smilie Rubble Master is better because on Rock Grinder, the combos stink and are tough to aim. The damage for the hammer only increases by 10 and is still clunky as hell, plus the ground grinders are still leaving him vulnerable and do mediocre damage.

well, those two skylanders are pretty much crap on either path, so it really doesnt matter.

I'll check on Wrecking Ball when I get home later, but it's +30% of whatever his roll did before. Spyro's is 80 for the headbutt and whatever your fire damage is (it depends on the path) for each fireball.

Blitz Spyro does a TON of damage. Charge in, stun, fly, headbutt, and most PVP opponents will be begging for mercy by that point.

Fireslam does 80 on both paths, and shoots four fireballs in an X pattern around him. Fireballs do normal fireball damage, which is 15 on Blitz and 20 on Burner.

Wrecking Ball's disco ball does 77 on Spinner, 55 on Tongue.

Volcanor is better. The unified game physics left the eruption working like it did on Wii--almost instantaneous, and ticks quickly. Neither path improves his Wow Pow damage, but in general, it contributes more to Volcanor, who doesn't have a heavy-hitting medium range attack without it.

Without a doubt Volcanor.It activates much faster and attacks faster than on S:SA(If you played on any version that isn't the wii)

Personally, I'm fully in the Lumbering Laserer camp. His charged blast is obscene. Treefolk Charger is a fine path, though, but now that all the Giants are released, you've got better options up-close.

^This. The flamefire burst and oil blob spam become lethal weapons on the Burninator, and Eye for an eye is simply a more defensive, more powerful, more range Master blaster Drobot.

^ smilie For Story Mode, go with Bird Blaster. For Battle Mode, go with Vac-Packateer. Keep in mind though that neither of Jet Vac's paths are dominant nor phenomenal.

smilie I-Beam Supreme is vastly superior to his other path Robot Rocketeer (though not because of the fingergun upgrade, no RoF increase and the damage only boosts by 1 point). Even with unlimited rockets, they still descend too slowly to pose a great threat. Not only that, but you need to use the Targeting Computer just to use Infinite Rockets, which would leave you vulnerable in PvP and Boss Battles, especially in close range.

smilie Neither path is amazing (he's fine enough with just the basic upgrades), but Anchors A Yay! is the way to go. Up Close and Personal is rather mediocre.

1. Breakfast in Bed: In my opinion the worst upgrade he can get, the belly bite does around the same damage as his regular bite and is not that big of an improvement (though it can be combed with the slide itself and do at least 80 damage). What's worse is that the belly slide only travels in a straightforward direction and you can't control it at all, you can hardly even land the bite.

2. Armor of the Sea: This is the only thing that makes the path good, extra armor is always a perk. He also gets a cool dorsal fin!

3. Bad Sushi: The Water Vomit ticks damage quite fast, it's kind of like Gill Grunt's Water Hose with the Starfish shot out. Problem is, it's shorter ranged than Gill Grunt's version and does not last as long, plus it makes your turns VERY slow which is very annoying.

Anyone got Ninjini path recomendations Also, the erutption path for Eruptor got a boost in SG: it can pull terrafin out from underneath the ground in PvP.

So I can't hate any Skylanders except the elves? Contradicting much?

People tend to judge Skylanders on how they look because they cost money, and they usually want a lander who looks cool to compensate for that. That's my excuse, anyway

I finished putting smilie on his "Best of the Beast" Path, and this is what it think.

On this path, smilie is really fun to use! In beast mode, smilie has very strong attack power. Combined with the ability to regenerate your meter while hitting enemies is amazing in PvP! Not only that, but he can also breathe fire, do 360 spins, and body slams! However, not everything is perfect with this path. smilie is already slow, and when he is big he becomes even clunkier. It is sometimes hard to navigate with him, and if you opponent can use long ranged attacks, this path won't do much. I believe that more people like the "Mad Scientist" because it is equally as fun and is effective for both short and long ranged attackers.

Again, any recommendations for (Scarlet?) Ninjini. Also, Crusher is a fair character with his rockslide path, otherwise he's just a slow, lumbering hulk, who deals tons of damage but way too slow.

I agree, but even on Rubble master he can't compare to champs like Swarm, Tree rex, and Eye brawl!(In my opinion)

Really? I'd think that her bottle rockets would be pretty good, though I suppose I thought Bouncer's rockets would be the better path but after doing so realized and switched to laser path.

The bottle rockets are indeed a pretty nice attack, but they're hampered by the enormous delay for going into the bottle, as well as the fact that you can't stay in the bottle for too long even on Ancient Djinn Magic. Swords really are better, there's less holding them back.

You like Swords of migt better? While I do not have Ninjini, I imagined people thinking of her paths like Soul of the flame vs Blademaster, in that Swords of might makes her too unoriginal.

The swords are a tad generic, yes, but Ancient Djinn Magic is simply too slow. She has one of the longest delays of any attack going into the bottle, and the orbs fire very slowly. It's true that Swords of Might is a generic, Blademaster-like melee, but this one all comes down to attack speed. Generally speaking, you can make more happen using the swords, because they don't take forever to activate or have a long wait time between uses like the bottle and orbs, respectively.

got it. Also, i may get jadewing, what's the best path? they both look great, though I like wrecking ball and terrafin and crusher (rockslide, compeltely different gameplay), so I'd lean towards the spinning path.

I don't know for smilie but Barrier boost on smilie does amazing in nightmare mode with the ability to become invincible underground.
