Most dragon egg headcanons actually have it that the egg grows whatever acessories after being laid - probably because a lot are drawn as spiky or with extra plating.

Also, a friend pointed out that's pretty much Metallic Cynder's paint. Pretty funny coincidence.

So, we got nothing at the recent stream from Activision, and now we're getting this tease. I think it would've been more funny if they could've shown this right at the end of the stream. The guy streaming could've been like "Huh? What's this?" and then he reads the note, and the stream cuts out. smilie

It is a little annoying that they are teasing officially, especially if there's going to be nothing at PAX, right? Just seems a little too early for them to be doing this since E3 is three months away.

I feel it should be pointed out, that while, yes, there's eggs like this for sale on Etsy, they price they run ranges from 30 to 50 bucks a pop.

Meaning that for the seven eggs distrubuted, that would mean the person sending them would have had to spend between 210 to 350 US dollars.

That... Seems WAAAAAYYYY too expensive for anyone to go though for a prank.
