I removed the reasons why they are ranked high and low because space issues.
Just because characters like Crash Bandicoot and Cortex are ranked low doesn't mean I don't like them. I actually don't hate any character this year, it's just hard to rank them.

My favorite sensei is Chopscotch and my favorite villain besides Kaos is Doctor Krankcase (only because there is no hope for Chef Pepper Jack)

Villains are definately Golden Queen and Bad Juju(I know we saw nothing of her yet), regular is a tie between Chopscotch and Starcast, Tech Swashbuckler following right behind.

My top 10 so far.. (10 being bottom, 1 being top)

10. Tri-Tip
He's only on this list due to his "summoning t-rex skulls from the ground" attack. He's also our first herbivore dinosaur skylander, so he's cool.

9. Flarewolf
He's only this low because we don't know much about him. Other than that- he's great!

8. Air Strike
His falconry aspect makes him extremely awesome.

7. King Pen
He's just so... cool! He's got giant knife flippers, ice breath.. so awesome.

6. Blaster-Tron
He's way more appealing than aurora, that's for sure.

5. The Tech Swashbuckler
His character design is awesome, and i can't wait to see more!

4. Pit Boss
He's a snake sorcerer who's name sounds like a gangster. I'll need to get his figure ASAP.

3. Pain-Yatta
In the wake of luminous' rejection- we got him.. MY BOI IS BACK! His figure looks amazingly detailed.

2. Ambush
His appearance, attacks, and dialogue makes him one of my favorites.

1. Hood Sickle
Hood Sickle was my favorite undead villain in trap team. he was to thank for the glitch that let us see blackout's soul gem early. He was like if grim creeper walked into hot topic, and then walked out. When wolfgang was announced as our undead villain, i thought hood sickle had no chance to be a figure.. But now he's BACK! Now he's an epicly edgy sensei!

Hey, Hood Sickle is my favorite villain this year

It's gotta be a 3-way tie between Starcast, Painyatta, and Pit Boss.

My favorites so far are Mysticat, Flarewolf, and Starcast, you know, excluding my obvious favorite

I mean, it's pretty obvious who mine is looking at my profile pic, but Tri-Tip is a close second. I have a soft spot for dinosaurs, haha...

Yeah I like Tri-Tip a lot to for the same reasons.

This year my favorite has to be Kaos. A Kaos skylander, master of all the ten battle classes, is what sold the game to me this year. How awesome it is for a Portal Master to have another Portal Master as a Skylander? And he can even summon his own Sky(doom)landers!

i know nothing about gameplay as thats going to be a huge factor but right now just based off the figures its flarewolf (cause hes a wolf) and mysticat ( yay another taur and he is a cat too, shot up to the top of my list the second i saw the full figure, i hope taur will be a leg option)

Sensei: Chopscotch. She's so much fun animation wise, so much personality. Mysticat and Starcast are close, but not by much.
Villain: Bad Juju. Golden Queen is great, don't get me wrong, but the new animations for Juju blow goldwife out of the water. She just oozes synergy.
