Well, I do understand that a lot of gay guys get their voices changed...I think at least that's what they do.

You made my childhood in general quite miserable, but hearing this just makes it even worse. Now it seems clear to me that my suspicions were true. You loved him more than me. You always did. And it seems you always will.

Your son was hurt. You wished to protect him. I understand, really I do.

...But to protect your son, you treated your daughter (that's me, don't you know?) like absolute crap. If my brother did something wrong, you tended to go easy on him. But if I did something even slightly out of line, you were merciless. I don't care if you wish to deny it. I don't care what you say you did, AS A CHILD I NEVER SAW YOU LIFT A DAMN FINGER AGAINST HIM BUT OH BOY DID YOU MAKE SURE I KNEW MY PLACE.

And you let him bully me 24/7 no matter how many times I asked for some relief. My feelings only mattered to you when he wasn't around, and even then you couldn't be relied upon to actually help. I didn't exist as far as you were concerned.

'Course, then my brother ended up becoming...a very terrible person. And so you started treating me even worse to ensure I did not become anything like him. But I could still tell you valued him over me. But given how sexist you were back then, this really isn't a surprise at all. But it still makes me so angry.

What was I to you, really? A punching bag? An annoying pest? A little brat? Oh, and let's not forget the idiot part, too. Even if you never said these things outright, it's how you made me feel. And it's damn clear you meant it, too. Don't even try to deny it, you damn liar.

And now you treat like I'm something? After you've absolutely destroyed my sanity and self-esteem? After you damaged all of my dreams enough to make me feel worthless? Even better, if my brother ever turns his life around... You'll probably just toss me off to the side to shower him with praise. You've done that before. No reason to think you won't do so again.

I couldn't help reading your guy's personal thoughts, and...I dunno, it feels kind of strange reading about other abusive fathers.

Not because I don't have one, oh no, my father is abusive, controlling, lying freak who loves control and would, I swear, kill for it.

It's just kind of strange to know so many people having abusive fathers, it makes me both sad what people are going through, yet understand and not be so alone in such subject.

My dad tries to be social, but he is quite an ass hole enough to barely even socialize with his kids.

My Dad was a jerk. Every time He got mad I was the one that got the **** beat out of me. Damn I can't stand belts, they really leave big welts and it hurt like hell when I was hit with it. Honestly, at one point he even turned me against men, I really thought all men beat women, I know now that isn't true at all. Yea, he used to slap my Mom around, a lot. Every time I would try to stop him, I got the hard hits, then that ****ing belt for interrupting their discussion. So yea, I understand your hatred for your Dad. My Dad died a lonely man, and I should feel bad, but I don't. Honestly, I don't miss him or his god damn belt. Bad memories? No, more like a ****ing nightmare.

Glad to settle that, but there's still so much pressure being put on me, right now.

Farewell, I guess. Maybe we'll meet again, but I doubt it. I didn't want it to be this way but I felt it was best like this after I tried to build things back up. "why do you care?" I couldn't have been more frustrated with that reply. I don't have to take time out of my day to check on you and I guess you you were done wuth me at that point. I could've gone too far but you know how my actions were triggered. If you don't like me, that's fine. I just wish you had never changed the way you did. The worst kind of useless is when you try to help a friend but they resume to be miserable.
It really shows how powerless you really are and how you're no good at all in this type of thing. Especially when you're just some kid.
