As soon as this pic was release people are confused and finding a proper explanation I'm curious what sick minded person made this thing or turned this thing into. Also they fan is probably returning again just a good guess

Personally, I think it is the counterpart to springtrap, as the other wearable suit.

Looking at it, not only is it quite similar in terms of design and damage, but it also has something that seals the deal for me. He has 5 fingers. Unlike all the other animatronics, (except springtrap) who have only 3 fingers and a thumb, "nightmare freddy" has the preferred design to fit a human inside.

"But what of golden freddy?' you might say. "Wasn't he the other wearable suit?" the answer is simple. He, much like regular freddy, also only has three fingers and a thumb, making it improbable that he was wearable, much like the others.

Very good theory, though it leaves Golden F with no real explanation, but still very plausible..

After brainstorming with a friend, I've come up with two reasons why GF has an explanation.

1: He still is one of the dead kids after all. After witnessing the events of "happiest day" it is safe to confirm that golden freddy is one of the victims of the murder and he is controlling the suit, or at least an apparition of the suit.

2: Golden freddy can also be seen as a symbol of the murder, as he appears in F2 after phone guy mentions the murder, and how it used a golden suit. Also, if we are to believe the theory that Mike Schmidtt is the purple guy, it would certainly explain the presence of GF in the game, with the words "it's me" being seen as a confession to the murder.

Well goods news is scott can't pull anymore fanf games this will be the last one for sure that's good to know and gives him a break from that. You can check the indie page if you want nothing much is on though

So, I'm sure everyone's hear the rumour/theory that Mike Schmidt, AKA the guy you play as in FNaF 1 is the purple guy.

Now, right I'm having a crisis with this idea. When it was first told to me, I jumped on board without hesitation, as the idea was awesome. Having you play as the killer in the first game, before anyone knew anything? It was sweet, it was awesome, and it is uh, unconfirmed, to be sure.

My issue is that I've gone through all my theories, ideas and research thinking that he is the killer, when now, I'm realizing I can't find a single shred of evidence to confirm this idea, and it's killing me.

Long story short, does anyone have, ANYTHING on this idea?

Golden freddy is a ghost illusion I don't know if he was even wearable since he has 4 fingers. Not enough for human to place hands,

Spring trap it's more wearable as phone guy mentions in the recording about spring trap being robot mode and costume mode with spring Locks. He was the suit used for the murdering as a theory stated since he was only wearable suit. I think cause he worked with GOlden Freddy together before putting spring trap away due to not working well. Which explains his witherdness the suit was used in 87 and witherd more into 2017 cause he's another golden character

I agree with this statement, although we will probably be given more information when this new game comes out.

@BadwolfMichael Of course, I never stated he wasn't. I was talking more about how everyone instantly assumed that Golden Freddy was the suit used for the murder. As we should have, it was logical, but we certainly fell into Scott's trap on that one.

As of right now, I cannot see the 4th game take place in fredbear's, if it did, the animatronic would not be damaged at all.

I noticed something about FNaF's "good ending minigames"
you don't play as any of the dead kids, none of the animatronics they are possessing

1: BB
2: Mangle
3: TOY Chica
4: Spring Freddy
5: Shadow Bonnie/purple guy
6: Puppet (idk about this one)

Just something I noticed, not sure of any real relevance aside from the fact that the dead kids can't save the other dead kids.

Well there was some speculation that a total of 11 kids were killed. Five of them were killed in the Bite of '87. There are six characters you play as in these FNAF3 minigames. 5 + 6 = 11. Could there be more souls in these other suits?

In FNAF2 there is a total of 11 animatronics. I believe Shadow Bonnie and Spring-lock Freddy were two of the souls taking the bodies of Toy Bonnie and Toy Freddy. Could that be some more info?

I highly doubt it's actually that complicated. Only 6 seems like a more fitting answer.

To be brutally honest I don't see how an additional six murders fit in.

In chronological order, here are all the known deaths.

1: The puppet. Takes place outside of the second establishment as seen in the FnaF 2 minigame. This is certain because the suit you play as is spring-suit, due to how it looks and moves. Murdered by Purple Guy.

2 & 3: Employees of the second establishment. The spring locks on both Spring Freddy and Spring Bonnie fail, killing the people inside and having them stored away, out of sight of the public. Replacements were made. (This might explain Golden Freddy's reason of existence as they would need a very similar replacement to be the "mascot")

4, 5, 6, 7, and 8: Murdered by Purple guy in the FnaF 2 establishment, using either spring freddy or springtrap. Puppet then puts the corpses, and souls, into the old animatronics. This causes them to act strange and trigger the attacks in FnaF 1.

9: Purple Guy. After destroying the four suits in the fourth establishment, the ghosts force him into the springtrap suit where, much like numbers 2 & 3, the locks fail and kill him.

Note these are all the murders we know about, not ALL of them. There is a good possibility this isn't a full list.

@LameLime while the kids were killed around the same time as the bite of '87, there is presumably no lethality from the bite itself, as phone guy in FnaF 1 states "it's amazing how long the human body can live without the frontal lobe"

There's only 6 kids killed who posses the suits the toy versions are just normal robots exept the puppet he has a soul

That is exactly what it is. The eyes of are the animatronic, but the face there is purple guy's mummified corpse.

As stated in the training calls in fnaf 3 they stated spring trap was not safe at all that he will end up failure. Bad fail spring locks.

But those eyes are anomitronic eyes? The suit was empty when purple man when it do how or what those big eyes doing there at first I though his eyes forcely. We're pop out.

It's difficult to notice what type of eyes they are. They are very big like animatronic eyes but they are almost human-like. But I don't imagine a pair of human eyes staying in good condition for years while they're in a dead corpse.

Alright listen up.

The reason Springtrap and the new "nightmare freddy" are called spring-suits is because the endoskeleton is always inside. When a human wants to enter the suit, they push the endoskeleton into the back of the suit, where it locks into place using springs.

When Purple Guy entered the suit, the springs broke and the endokeleton went back into "functional" mode. The face shattered the back of his skull, and the eyes popped through his eye sockets, among other things. Those ARE springtrap's eyes, mainly because the eye is one of the first parts of the human body to decompose after death.


Oh and @Hot Dog 542, that image has been up for awhile, around 2 weeks now, and it is most certainly not foxy, but rather the nightmare freddy I have been referring to, as evident by the large text at the bottom stating nightmare when the image is brightened. It is Freddy due to the shape of the face, the hat, the rounded ears, and various other clues in previous games, including, but not limited to, the stage 01 minigame in F3, and the paper plate dolls in F2 (order from left to right being Marionette, Springtrap, and this freddy)

^Wait, does the image show as the Freddy one?? Because this is a new one with a blue tint.
