QUICK QUESTION(s): Do I need to buy every skylander to get 100% Do I need to buy all skylanders in order to reach the highest Portal Master Level, or is it possible to do so without all figures?

Collection Accolades account for about 93 stars...6 stars per portal rank. I'm not sure how many stars are available in total but as you can see that accounts for 15 portal master ranks. I've heard from others that have achieved 80 with few characters...maybe they can chime in. Keep in mind that they count stuff like elementals...swappers...swapper combos...adventure set pieces...lightcores...green...orange...blue....series 2...series 3... etc...chances are you'll probably get 20 of them even with meager collections.

I have most everything released so far and I still only have 81 stars from a collection standpoint.

Also...Giants and Spyro's used story stars to determine percentage complete...I believe they still do that in Swap Force but again others need to chime in...this of course doesn't count all of the awards from PSN or Xbox that account for ITS status. As you can tell, there's lots of busy work to do in this one.

If you get every star in story mode you should get 100% I have.

35% so far, Also my first post on these forums.

43%, a mix of mostly Hard and some Nightmare. It doesn't seem to go up recently even with completions of some additional team arenas and timed/score runs. I don't have any Swap figures other than Blast Zone and Wash Buckler as of this writing, so no extra % from additional Swap area challenges for me! My portal master rank is at 42 right now, I think.

Switched to PS3, and I am around 90% there. Wish the portal master rank would surpass 80, if nothing else than to have something to show for all the extra stars you can earn.

I am wondering with the way it saves (on the PS3 at least), if Portal Master rank will transfer over to newer games via game data, save file or PSN/XBL account? Would be neat to build off of the work you did in the prior game.

Well, considering they can't really do that on a complete level for the figures, I doubt they will go there. But they might have me fooled.

I am up to 84% right now, but am taking a detour to do the nightmare swap zones for the last legendary treasure and then the nightmare bonus missions and arenas for the accolades...

It's technically feasible, the Mass Effect series famously took advantage of this carrying over decisions through all three games with your save files. However I'm not sure if it's possible across consoles for instance (say upgrading from PS3 to PS4, I didn't see any games support carrying over saves even with cross generation ports) which would probably make things awkward right now as we transition to next gen consoles.

Oh and not to derail this thread too much, I finished my 100% completion file on Swap Force! Also finished my first Giants story play through recently and I'm now working my way through SA. Trying to decide if I want to try 100% completing those two.

38% I think. I don't play it too often.

100% for me. Yea.... and my 4 year old is at 38% and has completed story on normal.

I play about 1-2 times a week, And I take it slow. I have about 20% complete... I am still trying to decide if I like Giants or SwapForce better. I like the idea of swapping body parts, but the game seems lacking to me on some levels..

I think you should have tried to have gotten a 2nd character from Series 1 at that rate.

On topic I have around 0% to 65% currently. It depends which console version of the game.
