What a handy little guide! : D
Might I suggest adding that avatars don't have to be 100x100? (But that's DS's max size.) I make mine on 50x50 canvases because that makes them usable for deviantART too.

K changed, also that monthly thing really depends if people are willing to submit their art, if not, then there's no point on doing it.

Nice tool tutorial, too! I've been thinking of doing several tutorials and maybe even how to draw [insert character here] ones.
