Oh this is HARD! I love GTG but I love YOTD too! I'd say....... Spyro 2 then.

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage for me.

I love them both, but RR wins for me because it had Elora and all the levels are so marvelously bizarre. They're bizarre in YotD, but they were moreso in RR, enough to scare the snot out of me when I was younger, at least.

I vote Spyro 2.

i vote spyro 2 cuz you don't get hurt from the stupid water

GTG was the bigger leap from it's predecessor, and it did have better homeworlds and BGM, but YOTD did have more levels, which were bigger, additional playable characters and arguably better bosses and speedways. I'd have to say that YOTD is better.

Spyro 2 for me. It was the first Spyro game I played.

The rampant idiocy at the beginning of this topic was almost more than my eyes could bear. Look, it's a game idea. Someone copied it. Woo. What difference does it make? None.

And... "Lookie at my avvie and sig!=)"? What does that have to do with this at all?

Anyways, Spyro 2 is better in my opinion.

I used to have a YotD avvie and the characters in my sig.

Spyro 3 - YES. More levels of beauty, strong bosses, FOUR homeworlds, more colorful levels, playable characters, great background music.

Spyro 2 - It's alright, but I prefer the third Spyro more. But I LOVE Autumn Plains. RR/GtG had less levels, three bosses, three homeworlds and the music in each homeworld was the same. T.T

So, yeah.. YotD FTW!

Spyro 3 was more packed with stuff to do than Spyro 2. I vote Spyro 3.

2 2 2 2 2 2! i loved it!

Part 2.Despite being shorter,the gameplay feels better.YotD had some annoying bosses though.I still tear my hair out regularly over Spike.

Spyro 2(much easyer)

I like Spyro 3! Spyro year of the dragon ( Spyro 3) is one of my faveret Spyro games.

Spyro 2 was much better because it's worlds were nicer and more interesting to explore and much more challaging than Spyro 3. Spyro 3 seems easier and less fun and the skill points are not in speedways anymore which makes the speedways less challaging than Gateway To Glimmer, also the worlds in YOTD are much smaller and less interesting to explore.

I like Spyro 3 because you can play different characters, the music is great (I like the Midnight Mounten music), the levels were better, the story line is better by far. I thought Spyro 2 was a little bit boring....
