Does it actually say Golden Dragonfire Cannon on the box? From what I recall, the Golden cannon was a while supplies last thing at GameStop. I see the grey one quite often at my local gamestops.

[img]My son started getting excited about errors--so we've let him get a bunch of "errors" but we just got one that I think might be a fake and I want opinions. It's a S2 gill grunt and one eye is missing. However--when we received--the plastic was lifting from the cardboard a bit AND there is a little yellow in the eye area where the missing eye is. My husband looked at it and said--"looks like someone stuck something in the package and scraped it off and missed a bit. I'm just not sure--guess I never will be. But I have to think if if was really a scam wouldn't the person reseal the package? Can someone tell me how to post a photo?
My son loves the missing eye ones and the headless ones. He has a good little collection going. I'm doubtful that it'll be worth any money but its worth the fun we are all having collecting . Of course--getting ripped off isn't worth it!

I have a triple pack with pop fizz and he is missing a bottle--not in package either. Actually I think I have two if that one if anybody wants to trade or something--and I have two of the striker pack
Listed as the Dragonfire cannon.

I remember I had a Whirlwind with a detachable head... often made it really difficult to take my Skylanders to people's houses, but really easy to paint on. My other Whirlwind is fine (probably because she's Series 2), but I know Whirlwind's head shouldn't fall off like that, my friend has a Series 1 Whirlwind too, and his is fine.

The easiest way is to create a photobucket.com account, dump your pictures there. Move your mouse over the picture you want and a 8 star wheel will appear in the top right corner of the picture. Choose "Get Links..." click on the IMG codes link. This will copy the link, now past it in your Post and presto... your picture is embedded in the post.

Aside from the crazy price--what are your thoughts on the "error" here? The seller has taken time to take lots of pictures representing the errors...but I'm wondering if there are substantial errors here or if they are just different placement? I'm not sure why I'm having trouble wrapping my brain around this one but...


Also---how do I make a link? I'll take some time and read here today to figure out how to do it. I've appreciated the help from members---

Didn't buy it, and didn't take any pics of it either, but last time I was at TRU, I saw a series 1 Hex who's right arm had broken off. The arm was loose in the package, so you could super-glue it back on.

I always love these kinds of lots. I imagine some midwestern soccer mom going out in the middle of the day and looking at a long time at racks and racks of toys, realizing that one happens to be slightly different. Taking it home, she turns on internet explorer, heads to h tee tee pee colon forward slash forward slash dubya dubyah dubyah dot ebay dot com and fires up the caps lock, exclaiming in great detail how a plastic figure that has cooled slightly downward is somehow the freaking Holy Grail.

And of course as soon as you send them a message stating that their special snowflake isn't really worth a thousand dollars, they'll send you a long winded message about how you have poor reading comprehension skills or are a troll and that their "buy it now" price is actually just a cap at how much they want to get about it.

tl;dr: This thing is basically just a figure has been produced a little bit differently/ at some point in the crafting of it, it was angled downwards. To be honest it's not as "rare" as say a paint error because those things seem to be either deliberate due to the factory making them (see the Chill lip thing and Prism Break's crystals) or a machine missed (see the paint errors in this thread)

For links, just stick a tag around a link. I guess it could be a bit easier, but when you're typing a reply, above the comment box there's a little "chain" symbol in between the one with the picture of a sun and tree and the exclamation mark. That's the "link" button and will insert a url tag into the comment box; if you select something (highlighted in blue) and then click that, it'll insert them around whatever you've selected. Hope that helps!
