We know it's fake, no need to call, every Skylander thing has been made. Think of the poster that comes with the game, it has no Whiplash on it!

^ Like I said in my previous post, it's most likely an April Fools joke. If someone calls, they might tell them that it's a real character anyway or maybe even the Toys'R'us employees are fooled by it and think that it's a real product that they're getting. I really think that Toys'R'us is going to have "promotional videos and artwork" up to convince people that it's real but then tell them it's an April Fools joke. They know people are going to come for Blue Bash on the first so people will be there to see it. They might even send emails about it too.

Maybe it is like Animal Crossing for GCN. On April Fools day The mayor gave you an NES game and when you activated it said this wasn't a real game. They will make packaging for Whiplash, make you buy it and When you put it on the portal it says "Haha, You thought Whiplash was real. Well Thanks for sending us more Money. ENJOY" That would be awful but somewhat humorous to someone if they bought it. I know this kinda mean but it is April Fools.

As a matter of fact, yeah. I've called multiple toys r us since this game has been released. I'm not going to call for something I know full well isn't there.
#1) There's no such thing as Whiplash in this game. It's not in the coding for one thing (inb4 you say it could add it to the game- the figures aren't programmed for that and it makes zero sense on Activision's part to make a figure adding data to the game when the other 37 released are already in there. Remember, the physical figures only unlock the data to use. That's why we knew about Legendary Trigger Happy before it was released, and of course it's confirmation on the 3DS version ) and it was never mentioned in any press release of characters. The ones that were revealed before the game came out is all there are.
#2) There's no Legendary of aforementioned character, since it doesn't exist.
#3) In the miniscule chance of there actually being one, we'd have an announcement for it.

If you're not a troll or messing around, you got trolled or got a prank pulled on you, probably by some employee who's sick and tired of people calling in for figures.

All that they're having at this event is Dragon's Peak, with the added possibility of Zook and Lightning Rod (as well as those 3 packs) if the stores didn't get them in. That's it man.

You should know full well that without evidence to back up your claim, no one is going to take you seriously. Especially if the only evidence you have is "talking to an employee on the phone at a Toys R Us in who knows where". This is equivalent to the Mew under the Truck rumors back when Pokemon first came out.

It fooled me because it does sound like a Skylander name... I'm thinking wow! a legendary Whiplash! I can't wait to get... umm... whiplash??? I had to look at my list, lol

I called activision support and there were swirling rumours of 3 new skylanders in wave 4 but no one was sure. So whiplash is a rumour and a possibilty

Look Joerox, I don't mean to be rude but as a number of people have said already: Whiplash is not coded into the game and therefore cannot be a Skylander in this version of the game... if you were saying it was a potential new Giants Skylander people might have believed you but it is not possible to add any Skylander to this game that has not been coded into it already. And we know Whiplash has not been coded into this game because people have disassembled and analysed the game code and found everything that is in the game, including all sorts of defunct code like the 'pets'.

Skylander figures cannot hold enough data to add something as complex as a 3D mesh and a skin, not to mention animation data, sounds and other assorted game data like attacks and it's heroic challange.

my tru told me they were doing tickets.. and they had 24-30 sets of dragons peak. 1 per person. some legendary trigger happys as well. I am not sure about new figures... anyone wanna take a guess at what time we should get there?

Has it been settled that blue bash for sure isnt getting there til the 1st?

Maybe whiplash is a giants figure that will only be available before the game launches. I dunno but i hope its real

When I pre ordered Blue Bash on TRU it said it would not ship til the second of April.

im already gonna have to pay 200 for metallic cynder and 200 for silver dino rang so itd be nice if i could get ONE of my 3 favs (blue bash) at store price.
