There is no dangling a carrot, by keeping a hold of my info. There is no reason someone being ridiculed should continue to support a site of constant ridicule.

Personally, I'm not offended by someone "showing off" there collection. Or by "bragging" how they can get 4 of each kind of Skylander. Good for them. They obviously work pretty hard at it and have some collecting know-how in order to accomplish such a feat.

It would be one thing if said collector posted his/her collection with comments to the effect of "Mine collection rules, yours is terrible." Or ridiculed others for having inferior collections, but I don't see that happening anywhere on this board by any member.

GM posted his collection in his own thread on 12/2/11. He reposted it in the "Show your Collections thread" which was created 5 days later. That seems appropriate since an pseudo-official collection picture thread was created AFTER he posted his own Collection thread.

The only other "Here's my collection thread" he posted wasn't about his collection. It was about recognition he received for his collection from a game developer. Again, I don't see any inappropriate action here. The topic derailed when others commented how they grew tired of seeing post about his collection.

Just my 2 cents.... continue on.

This. If I had the money I would buy 4 of everything too. I truly believe anyone annoyed by GM's collection is just jealous. Why shouldn't he buy 100 Cynders? He's not scalping them. He has every right to purchase as many of whatever he likes. Activision are to blame for poor stock numbers. People need to stop whinging about how this is "unfair" - this is the real world. Get over it. Try to appreciate the time and effort it took to accumulate this collection in the first place and how impressive the recognition is that it is getting.

Don't bother. Just leave me be. I'm about done with this site.

I know that my assistance to a forum member has not gone public by my mouth. I also know that without my assistance, this person would not have what they do have ( in a little bit ). I also know that there is more than a fair bit of trust on this persons end and for that I am grateful to have earned that trust. I also know that if it wernt for the assistance of another forum member, this person wouldnt have everything they are getting as well. I am not going to come out and say who or what is happening, I will leave that up to them if they so choose. I will say this, I havent said anything about my assistance as I dont feel it is necessary. I also dont think that anyone involved in this should say anything either as it will seem like a "look what I did. Aint I awesome?!" I know that most consider me an a-hole, and thats fine. It has never bothered me what others think of me. I know the truth, and the people who gain my trust and are apart of my life know the truth.

Anyhow, ignoring the situation/saying you're going to leave never helps. What you should do is drop it completely, and then never mention any part of it ever again. Soon people will forget, and only the trolls will mention it to ty and get you to scream again. Just drop them, too.

Okay, so another one of my threads have been closed, after people derailed it and ridiculed me, based on their baseless assumptions.

I will say this. I take note of who likes to come after me. To those people I say, you're dead to me. Don't ask for a bit of help, because any help asked for, will go unnoticed. I don't want help from said people as well. Dead is dead. I have better things to do in life, than waste my time on people who flip 180's every second. Don't waste your time with me, either, and that will be that.

I didn't come to this forum, to help and post with my fellow Skylander fans, only to be met with ridicule by people who have nothing better to do in life, than act immature and negative.

I will close this thread myself, or people will add feul to my fire, by posting back. It's whatever. I really don't give a ****. I'm saying my piece, and that's that. but, if the pathetic display of moderation here (they should be going after the negative kids here) and negativity isn't fixed, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Tash refered me to a seemingly mature site devoted to Skylanders and fans. Maybe I will be better treated there. I have signed up, Tash, by the way.

Well GM78 all I can say is Haters gonna hate, trolls gonna troll....welcome to the internet. You are the main reason I even started an account on this site. Your enthusiasm and overall zeal for this game got me excited to see more. Your Stanley carrying cases were a great post and I went out and bought them. Don't let the haters get you down. You know you weren't being an asshat so don't let others tell you otherwise. I never once saw what you posted as attention whoring you are simply sharing you love of this game with others that you assumed are like minded in their passion for this game. Others are definitely entitled to their opinions but just remember that they are just that opinions, that's also the strength and weakness of the internet...game on.
