I could list over a million thing I want, but I'll only put a few:

1.) 4 Player Co-op
2.) Online gameplay
3.) More Skylanders
4.) The two ancient elements of Light and Dark to have their own Skylanders
5.) Difficulty settings
6.) Longer story
7.) More variety of enemies
8.) A new villian
9.) And the return of Kaos

There, that's what I want to most.

^ Everything listed here is what I want to see in the new game but I really want them to fix all of the glitches and bugs that are in the current game.

I also want a legendary gill grunt.all the legendary starter pack guys,thats a good idea

I can't imagine with the sheer number of people who own a portal and multiple skylanders, that they havn't released a game that lets you play battle mode online with multiple different people and arenas. Seems like that would be so easy for them to do and everyone would buy it, because we already have the figures and the portals.

Because it takes time to develop these things? They werent sure that the game was going to be successful until right before Christmas when everything started to sell out. Now its been a game of playing catch up. Its only been a month. Besides its more cost effective at this point to just make the sequel have online mode rather than try and spit out some rushed bug laden add-on.

I like to see almost all of the things ppl are suggesting on here.
online play co-op and vs
being able to jump and sprint like in the 3ds
more characters
more upgrades and higher level cap (25 would be good not to high with all those characters)
a longer story line (more levels)
have a way to link your universe account to the console (didn't see anyone mention this yet lol)
A level generator/customizing for vs and as a way to level up and collect money
make it 3d compatible
As for the old characters working on the sequel I do think they will be compatible . The back of the single figure boxes it says "works with the original skylanders spyro's adventure; sequel games may require different peripheral." this to me means that there will be a new portal that you will have to get with the sequel. If it would have said " may not be compatible with sequels" then i would would be a bit more worried about them not working in a sequel.

I want a portal that plugs into a wall socket. That is all.

i think it would be great if you can fusion some skylanders together

Just out of curiosity, is this game just as challenging as the first three Spyro games put together? Or is it still easier than that, because if it is than that is quite funny. Because the first three Spyro games were for young ages too right.

You never know. For all we know it could come out in October or around that time again. Have you read the Skylanders Giants forum listing? It has all the information we know about it so far.

As Spyroflame mentioned, I've said what I want the most in the other thread. It does, however, bear mentioning again...

Activision to anticipate the popularity of the product and MASS PRODUCE these things to the point that scalpers won't touch them. With the reputation that Bobby Kotick has, I'd expect Skylanders Giants to be readily available to everyone. Money going into scalpers pockets for something Toys for Bob and Activision produced is something I can't imagine ol' Bobby will stand for next go around. After all, that could have been his money! lol.

-More Skylanders. Although this has already been confirmed within various other discussions and websites, I am still very excited following the announcement confirming the release of new Skylanders alongside the new game, or, 'sequel' in Autumn 2012.
-More areas during PvP to battle in.
