Exactly. If I get another handheld thing, I'll get a PS Vita. It's not a "just okay" handheld with a crappy new add on that sucks the battery up.

^I've seen the Vita. The 3DS has a bit more features. And the Vita is a bit too expensive
($300 for the Wifi and 3G model; the exact price of a PS3).

Plus, Netflix.

Shoot, I would always jump randomly for no reason in video games like a really bad habit. darn it... so then it's not really a platformer then?

I think only a few characters can jump. Syro can fly, which might do for some things, and I think I saw Gill Grunt hovering or something...

First off, a lot of people said that. But that wasn't what I meant. I meant how there are so many predictions I had for this game a couple of months ago that are all coming true, like no jumping on the console version. And I have every right to have judgements on the game pre-release. It's why gameplay footage is released. So potential consumers can decide whether or not it interests them. And I have decided that it is a game I don't have much interest in. And the PvP just looks laughable, may I add. However, I still have hope for the 3DS version.

From the extra footage I've seen, I've started to lose interest in the game. Looks a bit daunting.

I don't really care if you can't jump. Sure, it may be a bit difficult to get used to, but in my opinion, it's not that big a deal.

It's annoying that you can't jump, like when you can't charge in DOTD.

I'm not, I'm stating a couple of facts. A couple of fails that happened already

Skylanders is not the first game that doesn't have the jump button available in the console versions. If it irritates those who want to jump up and down for nothing before they need to jump, you can always buy a 3DS and buy that version of the game, since it is more of a platformer than its console counterparts.

The reason I want them to keep jumping in it is because it greatly improves combat. We won't even be able to juggle our enemies properly. The game looks like an over simplified LoS. It's a complete downgrade.

LoS was bad enough, I still don't see what was so fantastic about that series really.

Put it this way. If I myself hated LoS, and then seen Skylanders, I wouldn't be on this forum, at least to talk about Spyro, as Skylanders is doing everything LoS did, only worse. And no, I was not speaking for LoS haters. I was presenting a "what if" scenario of myself.

Funny little thing I noticed:
Skylanders has no jumping, yet it's part of a franchise where it was normally a vital feature.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 lets you jump whenever you want when exploring, and is part of a franchise where free jumping hardly ever existed.
