It's one thing to hate them but another to hope for the torment of them

You think I get pissed easily? Why hate someone for thier ideas about a chunk of CG data? Cynder is just a bunch of pixels. For the record, I don't hate New Spyro or Cynder. If anyone should get slapped it the people who hate REAL people with REAL feelings for no justified reason. By justified reason I mean a "crime" committed against you personally. Racists and the like should get more than just a slap... But I digress. I'll make these topics if I see fit. Don't like them? Too bad. I will make them, the most likely won't get removed by me, and if you disagree with what I say, why bother reading?

I care about the story because that is what makes the game fun to play after the gameplay. This damsel in distress everlasting childhood romance is too cleche, as many ppl have said many times before. It's also too perfect, given the sad lives of the New Spyro and Cynder.

Oh..now your calling it sad. If it's just pixels...then deal with the storyline. I'm pretty sure I find stuff to complain about...like half the people on dS...but I can't do anything about it so I don't care.

It's hard to explain... Everything else in the story is so cleche tragic (I won't list how I've done so too many times before) and now Spyro is dating his childhood sweetheart? It just doesn't fit. Not here anyway... I can't say how. As for the whole thing about the story, as long as they don't kill off characters who are essential to the current and future games (Spyro, Sparx, Hunter depending on what his role is and how he is portrayed), It's not a huge deal what happens to others. I guess I just don't like Cynder much....Cool in ANB, didn't see her much in TEN, then in DotD she's a wise ass but also a sad and uncertain child.

That's just it, you don't like Cynder so you'll say anything that's against her.
The entire TLoS saga is a different step in a new direction that doesn't connect with the originals.
So instead of whining about characters not being like what they were in older styles, maybe you should consider this being for a different audience, and it was purposely made as it was for that audience. (I'm more of a TLoS now person than originals, but I respect each unrelated storyline. But it turns out I may not care for any of series because of this website and the people that run rampant in texts...you being one of them, but don't worry your not alone.)

And how do you know Cynder couldn't be essentail to the game. Think about how Spyro MIGHT not be able to take Malefor alone.
(Like the idea? Why would you want Spyro to lose and dub himself a failure?) This isn't like the originals where you can simply jump and flame something for 1 second 3-5 times and win and fireworks go off the next day.
This is part of the difference....this game focuses a little bit closer to reality by forcing the heroes to give better effort.

The game came out in 2008 and it's nearing 2010. It is a DAMN long ways for complaining about "what could've been"

I know that things most likely won't change but I will continue to voice opinions and sign whatever bring old spyro back petitions I find. As for your fic don't use my character anymore! Just start from where she entered the story and just change the from Fyre to something else.

Thats something I've been meaning to point out to like loads of people who hate TLoS... Don't think of TLoS as Spyro, think that in 2005 Spyro ended and TLoS is just a completly seperate series of games. Like it has nothing to do with the original franchise. Thats how I think of it, sometimes when I play the origianls I think "How did this turn into TLoS?!" and it kinda annoys me that they stopped making the originals. Then I remember, think tha its just a completly different series. It works.

I see what you're saying, but it doesn't help me. If anything it just makes it worse to think that Spyro is gone forever...

i do miss the original spyros but i prefer TLOS trilogy. but thats my opinion. LOL. its just my type of game. although there are things about the original series that i miss like the mini games.

You never know, Activision might get tired of Cynder. Or maybe they will use fan aid again; though It seems that for every person I meet who wants Cynder around there is another who wants here dead or doesn't care. Or maybe they would do the opposite of fan aid to make it more original. DotD was fan aid and it had some of the classic (not good classic) cleches. Death of a father figure, near-total destrution of the world, a "miracle" brought about by the hero, yadda yadda.

I think that might be interesting.

If she had died in ANB and then everyone had found out she was being manipulated by the dark master, everyone would have felt somewhat sympathetic for her (though they would still have they little bit of hate for her as a villian imo).

Or if she had died in TEN, then Spyro would've had even more motivation to defeat the dark master and save the world, vengance baby, POW!

Or if she had died in some cliche fashion in DOTD, then he'd go all out and fight Malefor to the bitter end or be mopey and emo for a while, then go and kick *** .

The idea is endless to think about and I'm enjoying it.

YES! We all know they aren't dead, and I think crashpro gets it too.

Well, it's hard to say what exactly would happen. I know that I would cry; I was nearly in tears after Ignitus died, and I think losing another beloved character would push me over the edge. Yes I know they're just game characters, but I really get into the story that way.
As for Spyro, no one can really say for sure, but it would be one of the two: either losing her would break his will completely, or he would fall into darkness and become a second Malefor. In either case, the first thing he would do is murder whoever killed her. I don't think he'd kill himself, but he might consider it.

God I hope not. I hope he would turn back to his everlasting friend Sparx for comfort, eventually get over it, (not is such a long amoun of time that it effects following titles, unless she dies at the end, but even then just one), stop being so fussy over his love interest, and focus on bigger things.
