The game is not that hard. The skill point were hard. I needed to find help from the Internet to get some. The one in Firework Factory was the hardest one.

yeah! took me a couple of years too to complete, but worth it as I did finish it in the end, also it was such a great game, too good not to complete.

I've beaten the game with 117% at least 6 or 7 times, and I'm only 13! Well, I guess its since I've been playing it for 8 years now x3. A few years ago I always got stuck on the yeti racing part in the Bonus Worlds but now I can beat it smilie

Most of the skill points are pretty easy, too, which I've gotten all of them in like almost every game smilie I like the pics they show in the Atlas when you find them all smilie

I think the skill points in Ripto's Rage are a lot harder, I could never get them all :/

I'm currently playing YOTD and I've just completed the Midnight Mountain homeworld, so I'm nearing 117% again! smilie

I beat the game to completion (all Gems, all Eggs) this morning, after having the game for eight years! Before I've usually given up on some of the tougher challenges, or skipped out parts that I don't like (Sparx levels), or run into the annoying Speedway glitch.

I still need to get all of the Skill Points, but I'll come back to those once I've beaten the rest of the original Spyro series (excepting ETD, which I don't have the patience for).

I have! I remember when I and my brother missed only that purple gem behind the breakable wall in the Sheila area in Spooky Swamp. It was by an accident I broke the wall and got the gem. Then the next big problem was the Yeti Race in Super Bonus Round. We struggled with it for a long, long time before I after many tries made it. Yahoosmilie

I have 3 saves with 117%, icons being Hunter, Spyro and Moneybags.
This is my favorite Spyro game of all time. Then comes Spyro 2, then A Hero's Tail.
