(Only read the first few posts, don't get mad at me if someone mentioned this)

Am I the only one who smells all my Skylanders as soon as I open them? I love the smell of the newly unboxed plastic. Each game's toys have a signature scent distinct from the other games' (with a few exceptions as some are constructed of distinct materials).

I eagerly await opening up my Splat to see if this scent is all it's cracked up to be.

Yeah its her hair...what ever they molded her hair with has the sent imbedded in it. ...smells like some old school gum i usta chew back in the day when i chewed gum....witch i don't any more...never was much into candy.

Oh wow. That is probably one of the coolest things they've done. I can't wait until I get a Splat and then I can smell her all the time.

I just got Splat like today and O.O I thought you guys were joking!

See I dont get this, I got my Splat and she smells like Turpentine.

So either America has VERY different smelling bubblegum, or they altered it for the UK release.

When Power Blue Splat comes out, hopefully she'll have a different pleasant aroma like maybe blueberries or grape.

My Splat definitely smells like bubblegum or cotton candy or something. I thought it may have been a fluke when some people said their figures smelled sweet, but she's definitely scented. That's awesome!

I hope they do more things like this.

I think I'm the only person who has never smelled splat.

Just smelled mine after keeping her locked away in a shoe box for days and YOUR RIGHT! She does smell nice, kinda vanilla ish. :3

So I opened up my Splat last night and took a sniff. I can confirm that she DOES smell sweet like bubblegum, which is awesome

It would be the first time a gimmicklander would get reposed with Scratch and Sniff Stink Bomb.

What do the parrot-bats from TEN have anything to do with scented Skylanders again?

But hey, we DID have gimmick foreshadowing skylanders in every game - some in SSA have the power to become or use a huge thing, Fright Rider is a two-part gameplay character, Trap Shadow used crystal weapons, Tread Head is entirely about his vehicle(though Fryno and Hot Head also count partially), this could be this game's skylander.

I was mostly joking there. The most I can see Splat hinting at would be a color-based game, which would be kind of lame. But still, that's pretty weird how Splat's the only one to have a distinct smell to her. Like her horns are made out of Jelly Bellies or something.

i have bought skylanders figurines since 2011 and not one of them have smelled like bubble gum. all have smelled like plastic, glue, paint.

ok i will go to the shop and open one to smell it this monday..

Don't forget to buy it since you're so eager to not believe until you do it yourself, opening the thing in store and leaving it there is illegal last time I checked.

And you know, totally not take a starter pack along because it's not like you want the game or anything.

Our Splat definitely isn't scented, unless you count the natural (and horrible) rubber smell from the hair, it's not bubblegum or anything close to it though.

My Splat smells so good, it's now a car air freshener, dangling from my rear view mirror like fuzzy dice. Thanks Activision!

OMG--he got a non-scented variant!

Our Power Blue Splat didn't smell sweet like candy, cupcakes, sugar, etc; our regular pink Splat did.

My power Blue Splat also didn't smell. I assume they just used it on the normal one.
