My Guess For the Chase Variants
Knight Light, Short Cut, Rocky Roll and Black Out

looks simply marvelous. While he may appear to be less detailed, I believe the final will look even better and I will finally get him after so long of waiting for him.

Wow, its Lightning Rod...I mean Thunderbolt, you know, that blue colored, bearded humanoid sitting on an air element cloud...

Echo is so adorable that I can't wait to get her and play as her.

So far this whole wave is a must have....maybe not Short Cut though. The cores in this batch are amazing. I WISH I could take these new guys into Swap Force lol.

Now I am DEFINITELY GETTING THIS WAVE!

I only have eyes for Echo, Blackout and Spotlight in this wave.

I'[m a bit different, the only ones in this wave I want are Black Out and Short Cut...

Yeah I remember that, but I believe that is just personal preference. Some said was lousy, but some still liked him. I for one will decide for myself whether or not is the boss or just a big letdown.

Agree.

Some users don't like Blastermind, Fist Bump and Blades, but I personally find them to be really fun to play as.

Only you have the right to decide what to like.

Yeah, a lot of the yellow/orange detail of his arms, legs, claws, and belly didn't get painted, at least on mine.

Dark and Light characters do share a lot more traits between them than the majority of other Skylanders from the same Element.

It will be interesting to see how they will develop the concept (IF they will further develop it).

My guess would be yes...they might accent them like they are the Light Element's...but im guessing the pearlized black an pearlized white will be the main body colors of the future figures.

That may fit the "special, supreme Elements" concept, however...

I don't know, just look at the others.

We have a lot of diversity, color wise, inside a single Element.
For example, we have many shades of blue, in both Water and Air, but then we also have characters that you immediately recognize, among the crowd, like Wham-Shell with his red armor or Scratch with her purple and golden pattern.

One thing I really love about Skylanders is that I can immediately tell from what Element a character comes, by just looking at the colors or the features (of course there are some small exceptions, like Rattle Shake or Wrecking Ball, in my opinion), but still.

And I can IMMEDIATELY tell that Blackout and Spotlight belong respectively to Dark and Light.

But they could variate the theme a bit more.

Future hypothetical Light Skylanders could also have silver parts, trasparent crystal armors or weapons (like Knight Light's, of course, but not only white) or have a bright yellow base color, instead of a white one.
Dark ones could use more pitch black, dark purple parts and also have some spots of red, that would instantly catch the eyes

But I have to admit that when I think about Dark and Light as Elements, gold and white or black and dark green are the first things that come to my mind.

I just looked on gamestop.it and I saw almost every Wave 4 Skylanders' packaging! Maybe even all! I didn't bother looking at all because I wanted to tell everyone I saw them! I don't know how to post pictures, so you will have to look at them yourself. Sorry

Same here. I decided to collect all of the dragons since collecting all Slylanders wouldn't exactly be worth it.

I can confirm that Wave 4 still hasn't been released in Italy (MediaWorld).

Even if Echo doesn't appear exactly as the unpackaged version, I could fix her up by adding a little orange in her eyes to make them look like irises and perhaps paint her mouth a little bit pink or something to match with that particular color.
