Yes, I actually am thinking of switching to android, this one was my fault though (kind of). After reinstalling and still not working, I looked at the settings and the app didn't have access to my camera. I think the last update switched a bunch of settings on several of my apps, because I don't ever touch that stuff. Should have been my first thought though. I got what you were talking about before your second spoiler. I had thought of trying that or searching for the bag back on-line, but I didn't think it would actually work. Thanks though. I won.

Yeah, that's crazy that it happened, but really, I have nothing against iPhones...I just can't use them. I have trouble with Macbooks, too, but that's another story for another time.

I've been trying the phone number for the last hour and a half and it's not up yet. Which means, if it's not fixed soon, there's going to be some very angry n̶e̶r̶d̶s̶ fans posting their "displeasure" with Frito and Activision. Now batten down the hatches and brace yourselves for the ****-storm of complaints about to brew!

In the UK, Walkers Crisps are owned by PepsiCo (=Frito Lay). We should start a campaign to get them to do these promotions. After all Asda are owned by Walmart so they're doing Nitro Krypt King.

Wish I could use my blippar app at work. My phone's disconnected and I don't have wi-fi. I'll have to look for the pic of the bag when I get home and see if it works. I never did get a "winner" through the app for Hot Dog. Although I apparently still won 2 after getting the e-mails later, as I only won one through the phone number.

No luck for us today. We tried scanning the bag on the FritoLayGiveaway.com website and lost. Also, 866-861-4528 wasn't in service. Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

I played using the app and scanning the picture. I didn't get anything that said you won or lost. It looked like high five may have flown around a bit then a screen comes up with we need a bit of info. It doesn't ask for an address. Does this mean I won?

I had no problems getting the app to work on my iphone. I lost!

Can you enter multiple times per day if you have more than 1 email address?

It asked for name, zip, date of birth, and email.

You won't know until you enter your info on that page. Then it will tell you if you lost or if you won. If you win it will have you enter a few more details if you lost you will get a message like the one pictured several posts earlier in this thread.

For those without smart phones, if the app is the way to win this time just go to Best Buy with a printout of the picture and use one of their test phones to try an entry. they are usually fully connected to the internet and free to download apps LOL!

So do you scan the picture on the hour or do you have it all set up with your entry info on the hour? It takes a minute or so to enter all the info, so just wondering if that would be a minute too late? If I recall correctly with the Fright Rider promo, the winnings were at random times in each 15 minute entry period.

Is the trick that a win unlocks each 15 minutes? According to the rules, they'd be in (possibly random) 5 minute intervals.

For some reason today, my girlfriend got a "you do not qualify" message. She meets all the legal requirements and hadn't put her email, name, ...in today. The only thing I can think of, is that she used my phone ( her phone memory is getting full and she didn't want to add a useless Blippar app) which I already had used for my entry and had lost. You don't put your phone in on the first part though, is Frito Lay tracking our phone numbers (caller ID, IP address, Location) and saying that one entry per day per phone # means anything sent from a particular device? Or was it just a fluke? Maybe she entered the email wrong, I don't know, I guess we'll try again tomorrow.

Once you put in your information there are two check boxes at the bottom one to authorize further e-mails from frito lay and the other (that needs to be checked) for terms and agreements. Under that there should be a submit/enter button to press. Yesterday there was a button to press, today there was what looked like another check box with nothing but black background all around it and at the bottom instead of a submit/enter button. I just pressed on the black background next to the empty check box where the button was for me yesterday and it took me to the loser page.

This contest seems to be a lot easier to win than the hot dog one. I've been able to win both days pretty easily by app, which is great cause they screwed me on my phone wins for the last one. Only one of my phone wins ever registered in the system for the hot dog contest, so I don't trust it. I even gave them the exact day and times of the wins and they said they'd look into it... never panned out I guess. But the app wins are automatically registered into the system and mailed out without any real human error I suppose.

That's happened to me a few times. I'm guessing it's a you didn't win situation, unless you get a random email later on claiming you're a potential winner. I just ignored it and tried again.
