just got the game. haven't been able to play much though.
i'm posting a review of it in TorchSheep's 'darkSpyro Reviews It" topic once i finish it. I also have reviews of the first two games in that topic; i would much appreciate it if you guys read them and had any feedback on them, thanks.
There are multiple endings to the game. As said in the night 5 call, the suits have a mechanism in which the animatronic bits are pushed out of the way and make room for an actual person. The night 5 call also states that there is a suit called "spring bonnie" that should never be used.
In the end, purple man gets scared into the Springtrap by the souls of the children. The suit malfunctions and closes in on purple man, killing him.

How come whenever Springtrap killed Markiplier, his screen went really bad quality?
It has something to do with the screen buzzing on the game reflecting on Mark's camera, or something along those lines. It happened every time Mark died in the last two games.
I like it the best so far, as it ( So far ) has the spooky atmosphere of the first game, and strategy of the first game, and has more than one things to keep up with to prevent death, like the second game, BUT, it improved upon FNAF 2 as it's not just frantically pushing buttons, and hoping you don't die~
I rate an 8.9/10, Very good so far,
But note I am only on Night 2~
I will progress further tomorrow though~

Scott games posted a what appears to be Freddy's top hat ? Does this mean fnaf is over ?
i'm guessing that it does mean FNaF is over. It probably means he's "putting the hat down" and letting the series finally rest. The franchise can't live forever. I'm pretty satisfied with 3 games in the series and if he made any more he'd be really milking the series at this point.
And i'm really sick of all the people making hoaxes about there being a 4 in the corner of that picture. I altered the image myself, there's no 4 or anything, it's just the hat. How about instead of immediately wanting or theorizing a 4th game we just be happy that Scott put all kinds of time and effort into these games for us to enjoy? He's just one guy who made a whole trilogy of games that gained a following on the internet, and he deserves all the praise he gets(even if i thought the second game wasn't the greatest). Most indie developers would die to have the same success that games like FNaF had.

It makes me wonder what he's going to do after this. The FNAF series allowed him to stay with his current career of game design.
This is the good ending and how to get it. Posted as a link for spoiler reasons. Following along with the ending I-B & I have a theory for the story.
The second game comes first. The animatronics actions likely the result of malfunctions or just running wild on their programming, following the original guess in-game by phone guy of them believing you to be an animatronic without your suit. Towards the end it is noted that another guard has snuck in and is wearing the golden suit with the next day being a birthday party. Jeremy Fitzgerald is likely then the victim of the bite of '87, which is why Night 7 then has Fritz Smith as the guard.
During the birthday party, Purple Guy dressed in a golden Freddy suit takes 5 children into the back where he kills them and stuffs the bodies into the suits. The dead children then posses Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, & Marionette (Judging by the masks in the final mini-game) and the pizzeria is ultimately closed. Sometime later, the first game occurs. Mike Schmidt, aka Purple Guy, acts as the guard over the place, returning to the scene for his own reasons. The kids know who he is and come after him. During his time there, Mike hallucinates of Golden Freddy, his actions haunting him. Phone Guy is killed by the animatronics seeking revenge, likely just an innocent victim caught by mistake.
Sometime after the events of the first game, Mike dissasembes the animatronics to try to rid himself of the threat, however the spirits of the kids come after Mike for revenge. He runs into the back and gets into the Spring Bonnie costume but it malfunctions and kills him. This leads into the third game. The kids likely followed SpringTrap to the horror attraction and are the hallucinations trying to scare you away from Mike haunting the SpringTrap animatronic. BB's audio track attracts him places as he murdered the kids and that killer instinct likely still lies in him and he goes after it for sounding like a child. After the events of the third game, the faulty wiring gets the better of things and the place burns down with SpringTrap probably burning with it leading to the good ending shown where the heads are unlit and the kids have moved on.

I wouldn't want a 4th game, as it would most likely either change or add on unnecessary plot points to the story, as it seems pretty much done for now~
Yet, a part of me wants these games to keep coming, they're just so fun~
But, like others said, unless there's some mysterious part of the plot we haven't noticed, it would just be milking the sereies to make a fourth game~
I haven't competed FNAF 3 100%, so the rating isn't exactly official~

If it does end at 3 then i'll have so much more respect for Scott. It'll show that he understands that the series can't go anywhere else and that it doesn't have to.
I'm really interested to see what projects he has in store next if they aren't FNaF related.
