So, is it possible to add code to the RFIDs of prototypes? Just wondering, I know where I can get some but I'd like it if they worked in-game.

Most true prototypes don't have RFID's within, because the character was simply modeled for asthetic purposes. Some people decide to add factory RFID's from normal figures to make them playable.

As far as adding code... not entirely sure how to, have heard of some software out there that allows this to some degree, but I personally don't know much about it?

What kind of prototypes are you thinking of getting?

Moving on, several prototypes shown at the toy fair, I hope the finalized versions of Spy Rise, Riptide, Popthorn, and all those other 'landers look similar!

How? My Wii came preloaded with a Homebrew channel, but I normally just use some other programs outside of it.
Also, homebrew channel doesn't use Wi-Fi, right?

Well the Homebrew channel is the channel you get when you hack your Wii. I installed mine with letterbomb (Look it up) and can now play hacks in any games. I can also use back-up launchers or patch games. So to do it with a hacked Wii (Like yours), someone would need to make a custom code that says "When you put -Certain Skylander- on the portal, launch it as "Bombtroll" instead". You could use Riivolution to do this once you have the code set-up on an SD card.
Sorry if that made no sense at all...

P.S: "If you bought this Wii loaded with the Homebrew channel, you have been scammed and should demand your money back immediately" is what the Wii load when you first hack your it so if you bought it with the Homebrew channel installed, the seller could be sued.

It makes a bit of sense. My Wii can ONLY play games through use of Back-up launchers. And no, the seller can't be sued, the Wii was bought in a little shop on the street of what is locally known as the Bird and Flower Market. Every year or so we take it to a random vendor and have the back-up launchers updated. Riivolution, huh? Might try that...
